"Jack! Are you ready!" Milton calls out.

"I think so," I reply. I walk out of the dressing room wearing a black dragon gi, I have a bunch of prosthetics on, so Kim doesn't know it's me.

"Wow, Jack, you don't look like yourself at all!" Jerry says amused.

"Gee, thanks," I say. "Alright, I'm going to go now. Wish me luck."

"Good luck!" They call out. This is going to be interesting.

I open the big tall doors of the black dragon dojo. I sneak in the back so Ty or any other black dragon doesn't see me. I notice Kim's stuff is on a bench near there. I inch a little closer so I can see what's going on. After some time I saw her. Gosh, she looks so beautiful. I notice she has a bunch of bruises and cuts. It can't be...

"Alright Kim!" Ty bellows. "Your job is simple, my ten students are going to be throwing these bricks at you, and all you have to do is dodge them.

"Ok," She squeaks. The 10 black dragons don't look like they're going to go easy on her. I wish I could just step in and stop it all. She looks so miserable. I watch her as she dodges left and right. She wearing herself out, Ty probably doesn't give her that many breaks. I winced every time a brick hit her. I could tell she was in pain, but she didn't stop.

"Alright, and that's time!" Ty yells. Kim falls to the ground.

"No," I whisper.

"Get up you big lump of coal!" He grumbles. He kicks her in the stomach. I'm doing my best to try and not go up there. She slowly heaves herself off the ground.

"C-c-can I-I go get some w-water Se-sensei?" She stammers.

"Fine but be quick!" He screeches. I watch her as she limps towards me. I just want to give her a giant hug, and get her out of here! But I can't, and that's so frustrating. And boy does she look bad. She has a giant gash on her head, she's all sweaty, and she has multiple bruises on her arms. She looks so tired. I wonder if she's taking any rest at all.

"Hi," I say.

"O-oh-um hi," She stumbles. "I'm sorry I'll be out of your way, I'm just grabbing some water." She picks up her water bottle and chugs the whole thing down.

"No, no, don't worry, I'm not like the others. I just want to say you're doing great out there."

"Thanks," she answers. "But if I could, I would get away from here as far as possible. I know it's only been a day. But it's been a torturous day. All I want to do is just go home to my parents, my friends, and my boyfriend."

"I know how you feel," I tell her. "I'm also not able to talk to my girlfriend, and it hurts like hell. But you are really strong, keep fighting, you'll be safe soon, I can tell."

She smiles and thanks me, and she walks back to Ty.

"Finally, you took forever." Ty mocks. "Now come on now you're going to be doing push-ups until you puke!" He laughs. I check my watch. I can't believe I've been here for over 2 hours! It's getting dark outside. And Kim should be asleep by now. She's been through a lot today and needs some rest!

After what feels like hours just watching Kim going through the most miserable moments of her life. Ty finally lets her go to bed. I can't believe they're making her sleep on the sweaty mat. But knowing Kim, she could fall asleep anywhere. I take out my hoodie from the backpack I brought with me, and I cover it over her bruised and battered body. Everyone's already gone so I give a quick kiss on her forehead, and I speed out of there.

Milton and Jerry are still at the dojo when I get there.

"Hey guys," I say, "Why are you still up, it's late"

"We just couldn't wait for you to get back. Now spill the juicy deets!" Jerry ordered.

"Yeah Jack, how's Kim?" Milton questions.

"Terrible," I say. I explain to them what Ty is making the black dragons do to her. I tell them all about my conversation with her."

"So yeah, that's what happened" I finished.

"Jeez, do you think we should just get her out of there?" Milton asks.

"I don't know. I mean maybe we should just see how things play out tomorrow, and we'll figure it out. But our goal is to get her out of there as quickly as possible" I say sternly.

"Ok," They say.

"Oh, yeah one more thing," I add. "Rudy is the last thing on our minds.
