Time's POV
After the flashback I got at yesterday's party, the headache was really bad. Even when I slept at night, I saw him. I don't know if was a flashback or a dream but it seemed real. It was too realistic and detailed to be a dream. That isn't a problem. The problem is the headache I got afterwards in the morning. It was so bad I had to ask War to take Jai and Sol to school today.

I was lying on the bed when the doorbell rang.

Who is it now?

I'm not really in the mood to talk to people. I fix my hair a bit and make my way to the door. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the person that was standing there.

"Hey," I said.

"Hi," he was a bit awkward.

"Come inside." I made way for him to get inside. He sat on the sofa and I took the one opposite to it.

I started the conversation by saying, "So, what brings you hear?"

"I just came to check on you," he said and then hurriedly added, "Last night's party was big. You would've been tired by doing all the cleaning afterwards all by yourself."

"Thank you. I didn't do all the work by myself though. War helped me. Even so, I'm glad Leon skipped work today. The rest was really needed."

"You don't sound so well. What's wrong?"

Maybe he noticed the distress in my voice even though I tried my best to hide it. I replied, "I just have a headache. That's it."

"Oh. Then I should let you rest. I'm sorry for distributing you."

He was about to leave when I stopped him, "No, wait! I mean, I'm alright. It's just a headache. Not a big deal. You can stay." I sounded panicked but I didn't care. I wanted him to stay, to not leave just yet.

"Okay, then. If you insist." He sat back down.

After some time of silence, he spoke again, "So, how was the party last night? Did Jai and Sol open the gifts yet?"

"Yeah, they did last night. They were very eager about it. They opened the gifts while we were cleaning."

"I see. They ought to be excited. It's their birthday gifts."

"Yeah. And, they really liked the gift from your family. They really like those toys."

"I'm glad to hear that."

"They were very happily showing us the gifts last night. So you want to see them?"

"Yeah, why not?" I led him to the kids' room. They got lots of toys for their birthday gift. We talked and laughed about some weird toys of these days and funny things people do as kids.

"Fiat used to love these types of toys as a kid." He pointed at a specific toy.

I got another flashback. Two kids playing happily with their toys. Then a younger boy wanted to join them. The younger of the two denied his request and they got into a fight. The older one resolved the fight and let them both play without fighting over toys.

The headache was already there, which I had completely forgotten about talking with Leo. Now, the intensity of the headache increased.

He must have noticed the furrow of my eyebrows since he asked me, "What happened? Are you okay?" Or maybe it was the lack of a reply from me. Either way, he sounded worried, like he really cared about me. It made my heart skip a beat.

"Yeah, I just got another flashback." It was a complete slip of tongue because of my headache. But, it also gave me hope. Maybe I would be able to tell him about my past now.

"Flashback?"

"Yeah, I recently started getting flashbacks about my life before the accident."

"Accident? What accident?"

"Umm, five years ago, I had an accident. Alina found me by the river, injured. She was a girl living in that village. She was like my best friend and mother who took great care of me for 2 months till I couldn't even talk. I was almost in something called a coma, they told me. I had completely lost my memory then. I didn't even remember who I was. I was really scared. But they helped me a lot. The people of the village were really good. They were all very kind to me."

"Oh. It must've been so difficult. I'm glad they took good care of you and you're okay now. But you should really rest right now. We can talk later. You look really tired."

I couldn't deny him this time. I really wanted to lay down, for my head felt like it was going to blast. I nodded and went to my room. I lied down on my bed and shut my eyes. After some time, I felt two hands on my forehead. Wait, why is he giving me a massage? I don't know. I don't wanna know. I'm very glad he is, though. I didn't even realise when I drifted to sleep.
