Curtain Closed

This only have 5 chapters, nothing more. I just made these stories when I was bored, I had an idea for this for awhile. I ship Janine and Gregory, I'm a fan of both of them. I was happy they finally got together, I hope you all enjoy the story of them❤️

After the curtain closed, Gregory tried kissing Janine again, but she holds back on kissing him. She went to sit on the bed as Gregory followed her to the bedroom to sit on the bed with her.
Gregory: What's wrong? You don't want to kiss me?
Janine: No, I always wanted to kiss you, like this happening is everything to me but why now?
Gregory: What do you mean?
Janine: Why did you come back?
Gregory: I came back because I was a fool to leave, but Erica, Jacob, and Avi stopped me.
Janine: Why did they stop you?
Gregory: I thought you were dating Manny
Janine: I'm not dating Manny, I shut that down.
Gregory: I know, Erica said that.
Janine: But, why were you worried about Manny? He's just a friend.
Gregory: That's the thing, I always thought you liked him even when I shut you down. Which was wrong for me to say, because I didn't mean it.
Janine: I understand, but you had the right to be upset in the moment with me.
Gregory: I was never upset with you I was more upset with myself.
Janine: Why?
Gregory: I rejected you because when we both told each other, how we felt at The Franklin Institute. I was so happy that I was sure, maybe this might happen, but it didn't. You wanted to go your separate ways to take the time to heal yourself, I understood that, I took that by heart. Throughout the summer, I mentality, even physically, got over the rejection. But emotionally I didn't, I know what I said I period our relationship. I didn't mean to say that, what I meant to say is I wanted us to be friends, you know maybe work on this to make sure if this could go somewhere. It did, it definitely had me shocked, that we are here in the bed together while myself at the beginning of the party would've thought I gone home.
Gregory takes Janine's hand then looks inside her eyes when he said this
Gregory: I'm sorry, if I made you feel less then who you are for regretting you the way I did. I didn't mean to led you on, or be jealous of you & Manny at the bar.
Janine: Oh? That's why you were wondering if we were on a date?
Gregory: I assume, yeah. I am sorry, again, I didn't mean to be embarrassing, if only I told you how I felt because I know you don't read minds. But, Janine, I always wanted to be with you, this is where I always wanted to be.
Janine: Thank you for your apology, thank you for saying all of this to me.
Gregory: Can I ask you a question?
Janine: Yes
Gregory: Why did you regret me?
Janine: You know why?
Gregory: Yeah, but you didn't say what Maurice said to you. All you said he told you something to make you want to heal parts of yourself so you wouldn't hurt me.
Janine: He told me I'm selfish
Gregory: Janine-.
Janine cuts Gregory off.
Janine: Gregory, don't say "I'm not selfish" or "I'm the opposite of that."
There was a pause before she started speaking again
Janine: I was, I used to be, that's why I took the summer to try my best to enjoy my own company. I did, it wasn't easy at first but I made it throughout the summer to love me unconditionally. I wanted to feel loved but not from anyone but from myself, I'm sorry if I made you feel some type of way. I was just waiting for you until it was time for me to get it together mentally.
Gregory: I understood that but I thought to myself, you wanted to stay friends.
Janine: Emotionally I always wanted you to be with you, it's just before I started dating you. I needed my mind to be okay, I needed me to be straight before things get started physically with us or otherwise I wouldn't been okay. I didn't want to hurt you either, you're such a good guy. I'm proud to have you as a friend, first before things got more serious between us.
Gregory: I always loved our friendship
Janine: Me too, that's what special about it.
Gregory: But, what you said, I understand now, things were different in my head from how I pictured it. I like that we are communicating because everything you said, I know you did what you did for a reason. I am glad you understood what I did, I take accountability for it.
Janine: Everything I said I take accountability as well because I know what happened in our past. But that was then, and this is now. I always wanted you, I always wanted this. You are my present, this is my present, what happened tonight was special. I am thankful to be here with you, Gregory.
Gregory: I am thankful to be here with you too, Janine.
As they kissed again and then decided to watch a movie.
Janine: Now, that we got that cleared, do you want to watch
Gregory: Wakanda Forever
Janine: But, I wanted to watch "we meet the miller's"
Gregory: How about we watch "We meet the miller's" and "Wakanda forever."
Janine: Okay, we'll watch "We Meet The Millers" first. I really want to watch it.
Gregory: No, problem, I'll love to see the movie since I already watched Wakanda forever.
Janine: Well you're enjoy this one, too. It's so funny to me, honestly it's one of my favorite comedy movies.
Gregory: Well bring the laughs "We meet the millers."
Janine: Yasss
They both smiled as they sit back towards the pillows to turn on the movie in Janine's room. Then at some point they fell asleep on Janine's bed together, & Gregory was holding her while they were asleep. He eventually woke up before her, just admiring the way she sleeps. She turns around seeing him looking at her.
Janine: What?
Gregory: I'm just admiring how beautiful you are
Janine: Not you admiring me already, when I just woke up. I haven't even brushed my teeth yet.
Gregory: I don't care, I haven't either.
Janine: I  know it's smells
Gregory attacking her gently as she screams quietly as he gives her kisses on her forehead with his mouth smelling. They were lying back down on her bed with his arms around her.
Janine: I can't believe this is happening
Gregory: That I kiss you without brushing my teeth or me calling you beautiful.
Janine: Neither
Gregory: Then what?
Janine: This, us, and the night we had.
Gregory: It was everything I needed
Janine: Same here
Gregory: We didn't finishing watching "Meeting the miller's" either.
Janine: Right, we were out like a light.
Gregory: We can finish it up this morning, I can order some food off of Uber eats for breakfast.
Janine: That would be so nice, Gregory.
Gregory: Right
Janine: Well as you are ordering the food. I will go brush my teeth, so my breath can smell good.
Janine gets up but before she walks over to the bathroom, Gregory grabs her arm gently as he gives her a kiss.
Gregory: Thank you for a great night.
Janine: Your welcome.
They both smiled at each other, as Gregory starts ordering the food then Janine went to the bathroom to freshen up. Overall they both had a great start to the morning.
