An Urgent Matter

"Gojo-sensei is a workaholic, isn't he?" asked Itadori, seeing a message from Gojo-sensei pop-up in Megumi's phone.

"Everyone just depends on him too much. I... don't like it", answered Megumi, his voice dropping low towards the end. Megumi opened the message: "Megumi-chan, I have to go to India for an urgent matter. I might not make it for your birthday. If you want something, tell me". Megumi smiled softly while reading the message, and tried to hide his smile from Itadori.

"Safe Journey, Gojo-sensei. There isn't anything I need right now. When I do, I'll tell you. Thank you", Gojo read the expected reply.

Why is little Megumi so shy? Gojo smiled to himself. He switched off his phone and dozed off. He was, afterall, getting to rest after a month.

He was awoken by Ijichi who informed Gojo that they had reached the airport. Gojo was excited. He had never been to India.

"Gojo-san, you sure you don't want me to go with you?", asked Ijichi.

"And what will you help with out there?" Gojo yawned. Ijichi didn't want to pester Gojo anymore.

"I can drive you around there and cook for---", Ijichi's speech was cut short by a "NO THANK YOU" from Gojo. Ijichi watched Gojo as he entered the airport and turned into a speck.

It's going to be a long journey. I have to read about the phenomenon thoroughly. But, first of all, I'll sleep, thought Gojo, while setting an alarm. He set an alarm for three hours.

----Three hours later---

"That was a nice nap. Ahh. I'm refreshed", he stretched his limbs as much as he could. The Indian client had sent him multiple images and documents on the strange phenomena.

"Sleep paralysis - no, I hope it's not what I'm thinking", mumbled Gojo. His eyes widened in shock. He checked the pictures again. It was too early to draw conclusions just from pictures. Gojo noticed a picture of a girl sitting in a corner of a room. Only a tiny bit of her face could be seen.

In about six hours later he was in New Delhi, but this was not his destination. He had to board another flight to Guwahati which was more than 2 hours flight time.
On reaching Guwahati, there was someone waiting for Gojo at the airport holding a placard.
"Gojo Sir, are you hungry?", asked the man who was waiting for him. Gojo looked around.
"Nah, not yet. I just want to get there ASAP", answered Gojo, indicating he wanted to get to matters first. They had to travel another 3 hours to get to the place: Shillong. That's where the curses were looming.

Finally at Shillong, Gojo was taken to a five star hotel for his stay. Gojo had never heard of this place nor had he ever had the desire to come here.
"This is interesting", thought Gojo, looking around seeing curses moving here and there.

As soon as Gojo got to the hotel, he got to work. But his stomach stopped him. He ordered Japanese food since he was not sure if he could handle Indian spices.

"This is good", he said with a big smile. Gojo dozed off after reviewing the documents.

--Next day---

Gojo woke up early, showered and went down for breakfast. He was delighted to see so many sweet options. Gojo was done with breakfast in a matter of time. As he was returning to his room, he heard a woman's scream. He was being careful not to use his powers in front of non-jujutsu sorcerers.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Gojo looked at the woman. She pointed towards the bed. A man who seemed to be her husband was turning blue, his head had become bigger like a balloon. A low grade curse was sitting on the man's chest strangling him.

"Get the fuck out of here, low grade", said the STRONGEST sorcerer, as he swung his hand. The low grade curse was exorcised. The woman fainted. Gojo went back to his room.

"This will be easy. I'll finish the job today and I can take a break. After all, I've been working constantly for 3 months. I need a long break", Gojo said to himself, as he gazed outside the window.
