Chapter 10

(Harry's POV)

Today Harry thought that it you be a good day to go to the beach since it such a wonderful Saturday so he packed a beach bag and a cooler and told the kids to get into their swimsuits and Harry puts on his swim trunks but keeps his T-shirt on the kids then come running downstairs "we are all ready mommy" Darcy says "yeah can we go to the beach now" Freddie asks in excitement "yes we just have t get our stuff and ourselves into the car come on" Harry says and they make it way out the door harry opens the trunk and puts the beach bag and cooler in and then closes it and get's the twins into the car and buckles them into their car seats and get's into the drivers seat 

Harry starts the car and they start to drive to the beach on the way they sang songs and Freddie talked about wanting to build the biggest sandcastle ever while Darcy was more ok either swimming or just making a regular sized sandcastle we pull up to the beach and I get the twins out of their car seats before getting the bag and cooler out of the trunk we walk up the beach until we find a nice spot and I pull the beach blanket out of the bag and lay it down I pull out the sunscreen and start putting some on the twins and myself I also pull out the twins life vests floaties and put it on them in case they go in the water 

"Can we have our buckets and shuffles now mom" Freddie asks "yay please we want to make sandcastles" Darcy says giggling "ok here you go but don't go into the  water you can fill you buckets with water but don't go any further without me" I tell them and they nod and get to work on filling their buckets with sand I look around the beach their's not a lot of people here today which is a little surprising just then I spot Louis walking along the beach with a black dog I wave at him even though I don't know why I do "hey sees and walks over to us "hey Harry Freddie Darcy" he says "mister Louis look we are building sandcastles" Darcy says happily 

Louis smiles "I can see that and it looks like your having fun" he says "yeah oh can we pet your dog" Freddie says noticing the dog and he and Darcy both stand up "sure just let him sniff your hands first ok" he says and the kids do as told and the dog ends up licking their hands the twins laugh "looks like he likes you guys this is Clifford and he is very friendly" Louis says as the kids pet his dog who seems to be enjoying the attention "you can pet him to you know he won't bite" Louis says jokingly to me "ha ha very funny" I say just then Clifford walks up to me and I pet him I'll admit he is pretty cute "so I'm guessing you guys are out for a little family fun time" Louis asks and I nod while the kids both shout 'yes' and Louis laughs "well I'll not disturb you guys any longer" he says pulling Clifford back towards him and was about to leave when for some reason I blurted out "why don't you join us" I instantly mentally spake myself in the face 

Because why am I letting the boy who was nothing but trouble in high school not to mention the boy knocked me up in high school hanging out with me and the twins who don't know that the man standing in front of them is their father and the same goes for Louis "oh I don't know I don't want to invade on your family time" Louis says unsure "no please mister Louis we don't mind" Darcy says "yeah you can help us build the biggest sandcastle ever" Freddie says Louis looks at me and I just shrug "ok I guess I could stay for a little bit" he says 

Louis ended up staying the whole time after we finished building lots of sandcastles I brought out the food carrots, blueberries, green and red grapes, cucumbers, strawberries, and orange slices the twins do end up going for a little swim Louis didn't go in the water since he wasn't wearing a swimming suit and didn't bring one to change into either and he didn't want to get his clothes all wet besides he had to try and keep Clifford out of the water since he said he didn't want to have to try and bath him so he doesn't get his house a mess finally as the sun was going down and the twins were all tired out I pack everything up and Louis offers to take the cooler and beach bag so I can carry the twins 

When we reach my car Louis takes the car keys out of his pocket since I asked if he would hold on to them while I went swimming he opened the back door for me and I carefully put the twins one by one in their car seats and buckled them up then closed the door and opened the trunk putting the bag and cooler back in then close it Louis then handed me back my keys "well I hope to see you and your kids again Harry they are really sweet and today was fun reminds me when me and my sisters were kids and we would go to the beach" Louis says which I didn't know Louis had sisters "can maybe have your number" Louis asks and I tell him my number and we spit ways I get in the car as he walks away with his dog and I just sit there for a moment wondering why I just gave Louis freaking Tomlinson my phone number
