*a week later*

"Morgue, you coming with us?" Todd shouted, turning towards the back of the bus to look at us. Everyone else had already gotten dropped off at their houses, so it was just the Ray's, Morgue and I.

Morgue turned from looking at me and shook his head at Todd, "I'm gonna stay with Mercy." He turned to face me. "You don't mind, do you?"

I shook my head and blushed a little, "No, I like talking to you.."

Todd smiled and headed off of the bus, along with the rest of his family. I mentally sighed and at back in the seat, with Morgue next to me.

We've gotten pretty close over the past week, and I'm extremely grateful. Morgue is the sweetest person ever, he understands me. He knows how I feel about certian things, and we always agree on everything. Even he says that we think so much alike. It's almost like... fate.

Yes, I'm falling for him. As a matter of fact, I've already fell for him. I'm in love and it hurts, really bad. I'm confusd and I don't know what to do. Should I tell him? What if he doesn't like me back? What will I do? He's my closest friend, and I don't want to loose him.

"Thanks for staying, I'm really lonely.."

"I'm always here for you, you know that.." He said, sweetly, and I tried to hide my blush.

I bit my lip and looked down at my lap, not knowing if I should thank him again or if I should just keep quiet.

"I'm going home with Mercy, so just skip my place." Morgue shouted to the busdriver, making him nod in response.

He's coming home with me?

I looked at him and ruffled my eyebrows.

He saw my expression and suddenly looked kind of sad, "Do you not want me to?"

I gasped, "No, I want you too!", a little too loud.

He grinned a little and then looked down into his lap.

I was worried that he thought that I didn't want him to come, because I did. I wanted him to be with me all the time, he makes me happy. I don't know what it is, but I just feel so close to him.

We sat there in peaceful silence, until the bus driver shouted, "We're here!"

Morgue was sitting on the outside, but he stood up and motioned me to go first.

"Ladies first.." He smirked and I blushed.

I slid by him and started walking to the doors, with him following. I didn't bring Stripe, because we went to lunch and they wouldn't let him into the restraunt.

I walked out of the doors and shouted, "Thanks!", to the busdriver. He just nodded and closed the doors when Morgue hopped off behind me.

We both looked at eachother blankly, at knowing what to say or do. Then, I just started walking up to my front door, holding the keys in my left hand. He walked next to me, silently, until we got to the porch steps.

I was about to open the door, but he stopped me, "Um, Mercy?" He asked, with a shakey voice.

I ruffled my eyebrows and asked, "Yes?"

He looked hesitant, but then said, "Can we, um, sit down?"

I thought for a moment an then shrugged, walking to the first step and then sitting down on it. He did the same, he kept quiet.

Why did he want to sit down? It's almost midnight and we're sitting here saying nothing. Usually, something like this would be nice and relaxing to me, but there's an odd wind tonight. Something feels... wrong. What is it?
