I sat next to Morgue on the couch, my head on his shoulder, he was scrolling on his phone. Stripe was laing next to me and I stroked his fur. I smiled, as he purred and nuzzled his head on my leg. I turned to look at Morgue and I giggled, seeing that his makeup was messed up.

"What's so funny, darling?" He asked, turning to look at me.

I giggled, "I don't know.."

He chuckled, "Yes, you do."

I rolled my eyes and reached my hand up to fix his eye makeup. I licked my thumb to rub a little bit of smudged eyeliner off of his cheek.

"There." I said, pecking his cheek. "All better."

"Was it smudged?" He asked, looking at his reflection in his phone.

"Yes, but I fixed it."

He smiled at kissed my nose, "Thank you, dear."

"Everyone, gather up!" We heard Todd's voice yell from across the room.

I looked at Morgue and he stood up, grabbing my hand and lacing our fingers together. I saw everyone else walk over to the doorway, so we both stalked over there.

I struggled to see over everybody, especially George, even standing on my toes.

I heard Todd ask, "Anyone know where Mercy is?"

Everyone looked around and stepped back, letting me see him. He smiled and motioned me forward. I started walking towards him, Morgue holding my hand and walking beside me.

"Yes, Todd?" I asked, when we approched him.

He smiled and put his hand on my back, "Mercy, would you like to perform a new trick?"

I tilted my head, "I'd like that. What do you have in store for me?"

He smiled and everyone came closer waiting for the moment, "I've noticed that we haven't been doing alot of stunts lately, which made me want to start to think up some ideas. Well, I've been posting on Twitter that if anyone had any ideas that they should tweet them, and bunch of fans tweeted great suggestions for stunts. But one stuck out to me, and I've decided to share it with you."

"Is it dangerous?" Morgue asked, wrapping his arm around my waist. "I don't want her to get hurt."

A few people awed and giggled, making me blush.

"Oh, Morgue, do stop. I'll be fine.."

He tightened his grip on me and said, "I just don't want you to get hurt, dear."

I rolled my eyes and pecked his lips, making a few people awe.

Ali spoke up, "You do know this is a freakshow, right?", making a few people laugh.

Todd grinned and explained, "The stunt is simple, yet somewhat challenging. What I want to happen is for Mercy to be lifted up on someones shoulders, and for her to stand on them, holding two torches in her hands. She will 'eat' one of the torches and then toss it behind her, one of us will catch it, of course. Then, the person under her will grab her ankles, throw her into the air. Mercy will toss the torch up with her, then being caught bridal style, the torch will, hopefully, land in her mouth. How 'bout it?"

We all looked at eachother and there was alot of mumbling and talking, blocking out the sound of my heart beading loudly.

Someone has to lift me up? On their shoulders? And THEN catch me?

I gulped and looked down at my feet.

Morgue stroked my hair, "Are you alright, darling?" He asked softly in my ear.
