CHAPTER 𝐒𝐈𝐗
━━━ 𖡺★☽⋆⋆❥ ✳︎✧ ━━━

"COACH BAKER FOUND A SOLUTION," Spencer's voice filled the room as he entered. I sat up and set the book I had been reading beside me, my attention now fully on him. "That's great! What is it?" I replied curiously, eager to hear the details.

Spencer's face lit up with a hint of hesitation. He took a deep breath and sat on the edge of my bed.  "Well, he offered me to move into his house so that I can still play in Beverly Hills," He informed, causing my eyebrows to rise in surprise. "It's crazy, right? But Coach also wanted you to move in," Spencer added, his tone mixing surprise with a hint of excitement.

"Moving to Beverly Hills?" I chuckled, trying to wrap my head around it. "I mean, it's one thing to resolve the transfer issues, but moving into Coach Baker's house—that's a whole different level." I shook my head, still processing the surprising offer that we had both received.

"Yeah, It sounds like an incredible opportunity, but it's also a big change. Are you ready for something like that? He asked, genuinely curious about my thoughts. I paused, taking a moment to consider the question. "I have my friends and family all here in Crenshaw. Leaving them behind wouldn't be easy for me. Crenshaw still means a lot to me, even if it wasn't always the best place." Taking a deep breath, I finally said, "If you're in, then I'm in too. But what about your mom and Dillon?"

Spencer's expression turned serious. "I've already talked to them. They're supportive of the move. We'll only be in Beverly Hills during the week, and on the weekends, we'll be back home," he assured me.

"Okay," I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "Let's do this then." A smile spread across his face before he pulled me into a hug. The embrace was warm and reassuring.

"We're going to make this work," Spencer said, his voice filled with newfound determination. I hugged him back, feeling a sense of relief and resolve settle in. "Yeah, we will. Together."

THE WARM SUN beamed down on my skin. I laid on a beach towel with my journal in my hands, close to my face. while Layla who sat beside me had her eyes focused on a random magazine.

A short distance away Spencer, Jordan, Asher, and JJ were playing football on the sand. The football team had decided to hold their practice at the beach today and they'd invited Spencer to join them.

That was one of the main reasons I had decided to come—to keep an eye on him and make. Jordan and I still weren't on speaking terms, but miraculously he and Spencer had made up. I didn't care about that because I was still mad at him, and that wasn't going to change anytime soon.
