THE SOUND OF chatter and music filled Arizona's ears as she walked with Javi and Kate to their motel rooms. Great, yet another shitty bed to sleep in.

"Didn't we sleep here one time?" Arizona asked, as she shouldered her bag. She narrowed her eyes at the motel, trying to recall any memory she had of the place.

Kate laughed next to her. "I'm pretty sure we've slept in every motel in Oklahoma, Ari."

Arizona shook her head with a smile on her face. Javi nudged her side, his small smirk bringing up nights that she wished she could have completely forgotten about.

"Remember we used to have Addy check in?" Javi asked, looking forward at the rusting metal railings. "Then later, we'd all sneak into the room so we could all save ten bucks?"

Arizona started nodding, her tongue poking at the inside of her cheek. "We'd have Addy do it 'cause she was... 'cause she looked so sweet."

The trio continued walking towards their rooms, the dirt and mud collecting on their clothes starting to become uncomfortable.

Javi turned to the girls. "Hey, um, you two want to hang out later? I'll go, you know, just go into the room real quick, and, obviously...shower, and we can come back out here."

Kate looked to Arizona, silently asking if she was up for it. She hadn't done much that day—hadn't experienced what Arizona did—so she was feeling a little more energized.

"Um, I'm...I'm real tired, but, um...Kate, you should totally go. I'll join you both another time," Arizona said, squeezing Kate's shoulder with a tired smile.

"You sure, Ari?" Kate asked. "I can just go up to the room with you if you want."

Arizona shook her head. "Nah, I'll be okay. You should enjoy yourself."

Kate nodded, giving her a smile before she and Javi walked off together.

Arizona sighed, watching the two disappear behind a row of cars. Finally being alone gave the blonde time to think, which was something she was never good at.

Her mind would wander, memories of the past and all the bad things that had happened to her resurfacing. She had to constantly tell herself to snap out of it, especially when she was out in public.

But sometimes it would just be too much. Like today, when Arizona got caught just staring at the most beautiful creation to ever exist. It's hard to forget that it had caused so much destruction in her life.

Shaking her head, Arizona forced herself to take a few steps forward as she rearranged her bag on her shoulder.

She made her way up the stairs, stopping when she heard her name being called.

"Hey, Dorothy!"

Arizona sighed, resting her forearm on the railing as she looked down at the red rusted truck.

A bunch of whooping and hollering was pointed in her direction, only making Arizona give a big, fake smile. "That's not my name," she said.

But Tyler wasn't listening to her. "'The cells to the west will choke each other out,' she said. 'The one to the east will put on a show.'"

He flashed her his signature smile, and Arizona was surprised he didn't tip the imaginary hat on his head.

"I thought your little cowboy hat would have squeezed any logical knowledge about tornadoes out of it and we could get away," she said, sighing. "Seems like I was wrong. Maybe there is a tiny, tiny brain in there somewhere."
