Chapter 2. Remember when

After Charlie broke out in musical and skipped out the door singing "🎵 Happy day in hell 🎵" everything seemed to calm down, heavenly was still in deep thought...

Heavenly whispers under her breath "he must have himself tied in a knot to come running to demon royalty... especially demon royalty that is nieve and doesn't know his manipulative tactics, and how to recognize them..."

Just then a voice was heard behind her
"What is all this mumbling about, dear?" Alastor asked suspiciously

Heavenly was caught off guard and spooked and turned around "God damnit! I hate when you do that!"

Alastor let out a chuckle "that's why I do it! Because you hate it, darling!" He let out another chuckle.

Heavenly looked at him seriously "Why are you here Al."

The nickname "Al" pulled a little on his heartstrings but didn't let it show for even a millisecond. He knew what he had to do next...
"To find you of course, I figured you and I could make amends, make things right, and I just happened to come across your dear cousins hotel project, and I know you have a soft spot for her so I assumed you would show up,"
He said in a charming voice.

Heavenlys Heart wanted to believe every word he said, but she knew she couldn't trust him. Not until he proved he was telling the truth...
"Really Al? Do you really expect me to believe that? You dispersed for 7 years and you expect me to just forgive you?!- especially after- after what happened?- the night you left?-"

Flashbacks flowed through both their minds, heavenly looked frustrated and... slightly hurt... while Alastor didn't looked phased at all, but underneath his smile he felt a electrical surge of guilt go through him... but he wasn't going to let anyone see that... Ever...

"Well of course dear, I did leave for a reason, I would hope you understand as a good friend of mine hm?" He said in a enthusiastic voice

"Are fucking serious? Your just going to act like nothing happened? You basically kissed and ran! Like a coward!" She then chuckled "I'm such a idiot for ever trusting you, and the fact that I let you take advantage of me like that...do what you want you pompous prick, but if you even so as much touch Charlie or take advantage of her like you do to me I will not hesitate to put you 6 more feat in the ground..." She said pointing a finger at him and occasionally poking him in the chest.

Alastor just narrowed his eyes at her and his static grew louder.

Heavenly walked away and went upstairs to the room Charlie was letting her stay in...
