Chapter 4. A dead beat heart beat

Heavenly walked endlessly through the streets of heaven, twords the huge building in the center of heaven, she was getting weird and disgusted glares from the heaven born,
but looks of welcome and warmth from the winners, she waved friendily to the winners but just ignored the angels.

She made her way to the giant work building and walked inside. A lamb angel at the front desk asked in slight fear, seeing the look of rage on Heavenlys face
"Oh- Mrs. Morningstar- you don't have any meetings scheduled for today- ma'am-"

heavenly looked back at the lamb with a tender smile, heavenly liked when angels or demons treated her with respect, but didn't like the feeling when someone was scared of her when they didn't have a reason.

"I know, I just need to have a conversation with my father, do you know where he is?" She asked softly trying to reassure the lamb.

The lamb angel calmed down but she was still studering
"Of course- he's on the 8th floor- in his office- you can't miss it!" She then nervously laughed.

"Thanks," she then took off over to the elevators and pressed the 8 button to go to the 8th floor. Once she got out of the elevator, she struted proudly twords the end of the hall, this would be the first time she's seen her father personally, and not in a meeting between her and him and some other people, in almost 5 years...
She flung open the big door
"You got some fucking nerve! You knew that Adam would destroy Charlie emotionally, and yet you were to fuckin LAZY to show up FOR ANYTHING!" She shouted

Michael flinched up at the sound of his door getting flung open, but was even more shocked to see his daughter heavenly,
"Heavenly, listen sweetie, I was very busy- so Adam volunteered to take over- I had no idea-"

"Oh bullshit! I've tried to make things easier between our family, and the only issue here is you, I asked you several times to just come visit in the last 7 fucking years! And it's always "I'm to busy" grow the fuck up! And you still have the balls to call me "sweetie"! When are you going to start showing up?!"

Michael looked at her in disbelief and guilt
"Heavenly- you don't understand- me and Lucifer aren't on best terms- and I have work to do, it isn't easy being gods favorite okay? Look I promise I'll show up for the next meeting and talk to Adam about his attitude, but you got to promise to stop coming to me with a fight, I want this whole thing to work out too, it's just hasn't been easy, and it's not going to get easier if we keep fighting each other... Okay Hev?"

Heavenly shoved her anger down and tried to understand what he was trying to say "yes dad, I promise..."

Michael got up and embraced her in a hug "okay, and tell my short brother, that I said hi okay?" He said with a laugh

She hugged him back "yeah, yeah, I get it," she said her mood lighting
