Jaelyn: I thought I told you to never talk to me again.
Harumi: I know, I got that...you said it loud and clear, JJ.
Jaelyn: You don't have the right anymore to call me that...or "bestie." You know you lost that privilege.
Harumi: Why did you become so cold to me? You completely shut me out-
Jaelyn: Nuh-uh. I'm not listening to your little story. You know what you did.
Harumi: (scoffs) Do remind me of what I did, then. What, pray tell, was so "bad"?
Jaelyn: Really? You wanna go there? (sighs) Fine. Let's see...you forced me to do things for you ON YOUR TIME while not giving anything back in return, you put the blame and stress ON ME whenever I actually HUNG OUT with my other friends because I wasn't giving you enough "attention," AND you dragged my friend group down with me just because I matched their profile pictures on my social media. What more do you want me to say?
Harumi: Oh hon... that all affected you because you don't have tough skin. You're weak.
Jaelyn: Where on earth did you get that? You're the "weak one." You took out your insecurities and problems on me.
Harumi: Oh please! Do you think I need help?? I'm not the one who cried over losing all her friends.
Jaelyn: You know what? I'm not dealing with this. We already went our separate ways. Bye Harumi.
Harumi: HEY!! I'm not done!
Jaelyn: BYE HARUMI.
As she tried to escape from her ex-friend, Harumi grabbed her arm tightly.
Jaelyn: LET GO OF ME!!
Harumi: You don't get it do you?!?! YOU NEED ME! Matt is gone. Sam is GONE. Who else do you have left? NOBODY.
Jaelyn: I HAVE THE ARMY!
Harumi: THE ARMY DOESN'T COUNT!! They'll betray you!!!
Jaelyn: No...they WON'T.
Harumi: Yes, they will. And I KNOW you're afraid that'll happen.
There was a moment of silence.
Jaelyn: Sure, I am, but I'm afraid of that with all my friends. Besides, I know the army better than you ever will. They had my back when you were trying to drag me down. They actually listen to me. They actually value my opinions and my ideas. And hey what do you know? They actually DON'T START DRAMA!
Harumi: UGH!
Harumi threw Jaelyn's arm as an attempt to knock her down on the floor. It didn't work.
Harumi: You still don't get it. Heh. You really don't get it... (shakes head)
Jaelyn: And what's your point, huh? Come on! I'm waiting for the name calling.
To Jaelyn's surprise, Harumi frowned and her hands shaked. She was showing a vulnerable side of herself that Jaelyn had never seen before.
