Her

The next morning, Bhaiya and I walked into the QuantumTech building together. The sleek design and buzzing atmosphere ignited my excitement for the redesign project.

As we approached the reception desk, Bhaiya's secretary, Sophie, greeted us warmly.

"Good morning, Mr. Basu," she said with a nod. "There's an urgent meeting just come up, and Mr. Marchetti is already waiting for you in the conference room."

Bhaiya sighed, disappointment etched on his face. "Of course. Tara, I have to take care of this. Why don't you wait here? I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Sure, Bhaiya. No problem," I reassured him with a smile.

As he hurried off, Sophie turned to me. "You must be Tara. It's lovely to finally meet you."

"Lovely to meet you too, Sophie," I replied, shaking her hand. "I'm really looking forward to getting started."

"We're all excited to see what you'll bring to the table," Sophie said. "Feel free to settle in. I'll make sure you have everything you need while you wait."

"Thank you, I appreciate that," I said, feeling at ease.

Sophie pointed me towards a nearby seating area. As I settled in, I observed the lobby's buzz—the lively conversations, the clacking of keyboards. It energized me, fueling my eagerness to dive into the project.

A few minutes later, I saw Bhaiya and Dante walking into the lobby, clearly wrapping up their meeting.

"Done with the meeting," Bhaiya greeted me, his usual cheerful self. "Ready to get started?"

"Definitely," I replied, standing up and mentally preparing for the day ahead.

Dante gave me a brief nod, his expression as stoic as ever. "Morning, Petardo."

I could feel his critical gaze, but I shrugged it off, determined to stay focused.

"Let's head over to the office spaces and get you familiar with everything," Bhaiya said, gesturing for me to follow him.

"This is the main reception area," Bhaiya began, gesturing around. "We've been thinking of opening up the space to make it more inviting."

As I took in the large, open area, I noted the potential for a more modern and functional layout. The existing furniture seemed dated, and the color scheme drab. There was definitely room for improvement.

"Let's start with the office spaces," Bhaiya said, leading us down a hallway. "This is where the real work happens."

We approached a set of double doors labeled "Executive Offices." Bhaiya opened them, revealing a corridor lined with various offices. My eyes were drawn to the contrast between Bhaiya's organized space and Dante's cluttered, high-tech office.

"Here's my office," Arjun said proudly. "And right across the hall is Dante's."

"Nice spaces," I commented, already mentally noting the changes I wanted to make. "I'll need to measure everything to get a sense of the proportions."

I started measuring the rooms and taking notes as Bhaiya pointed out areas he was particularly proud of, while Dante remained more reserved, observing from the sidelines.

"So, what are your initial thoughts?" Bhaiya asked as we reconvened in his office.

"Well, there's definitely a lot to work with," I said. "I'm thinking of creating a more open, collaborative environment here. For your office, a more streamlined look could enhance productivity. Mr. Grump's space will need a complete overhaul to balance out the high-tech elements with practical design."
