Here is a rough draft of a poem I'm writing for school rn:
Oh to have a bravery so great
as to have it spoken of to date.
The heroic actions of one,
said to outshine even the sun.
To display such amazing virtue
that there is no doubt these stories are true.
Your Christlike qualities are shown,
the most precious fruit one can own.
Oh to write such poetry, such rhyme,
as glorious praises to the Lord of all time.
How I wish, with intense yearning,
to be quite as discerning.
To be so filled with sorrow
at my sins, to repent every morrow.
The Lord gave you courage
which would the greatest giant enrage.
How incredible it is, to me;
that one man so brave could be.
I pray for that same integrity
to be endowed also to me.As you can probably see, I ran out of motivation in the second half so it's a bit average compared to the first half.
