Y/N's body ached with every movement, her mind clouded with fear and disbelief. She had known pain before, but this was different—this was a pain that consumed her, that made her feel as though her very soul was being torn apart. And then, there was the nausea, the unbearable sickness that made her rush to the bathroom. She barely made it to the sink before she began retching, her stomach twisting in agony.

As she wiped her mouth, a horrifying realization dawned on her. She pressed a trembling hand to her abdomen, her heart racing in terror. "No, no, no," she whispered, panic rising in her chest. "This can't be happening. I can't be pregnant—not by him!"

Her world spun as the gravity of the situation hit her like a crashing wave. How could she bear the child of the monster who had taken everything from her? How could she bring life into a world so filled with darkness? The thoughts circled her mind like vultures until she heard the faint creak of the bedroom door.

Her heart stopped. Was it Wukong? Had he returned so soon? Y/N steeled herself, preparing for the worst, as she walked back into the bedroom. But instead of the Jade Emperor, she was met with a sight that made her knees buckle.

"Macaque? Mei?" she gasped, her voice barely a whisper.

The two figures rushed to her side, wrapping her in a tight embrace. Mei's eyes were filled with tears, and Macaque's expression was a mix of relief and fury. They held her as if they had feared never to see her again, and for a moment, Y/N felt a flicker of hope. Maybe, just maybe, there was a chance to escape this nightmare.

"You're alive," Mei sobbed into her shoulder. "We thought—we thought—"

"I'm okay," Y/N managed, her voice thick with emotion. "I'm okay, for now."

Macaque's grip on her tightened, his eyes scanning her face with concern. "We need to get you out of here. We need to—"

But before he could finish, a deafening crack of thunder shook the palace, rattling the windows and sending a jolt of fear through Y/N's heart. The sky outside darkened, and the air became heavy with the scent of ozone. Y/N's stomach twisted in dread as the room was illuminated by a flash of lightning. The Jade Emperor was here, and he was ready to play his twisted game once more.

Y/N's breath hitched in her throat. She could feel the weight of his presence, the oppressive energy that always accompanied him, pressing down on her like a suffocating blanket. The brief glimmer of hope she had felt upon seeing her friends began to fade, replaced by a cold, paralyzing fear.

"We have to go," Macaque urged, his voice low and urgent. "Now, before he finds us."

But Y/N shook her head, her body frozen in place. "He's already here," she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes. "He'll never let us leave. Not now."

Macaque's expression hardened, and he opened his mouth to argue, but before he could, the doors to the chamber were thrown open with a violent force, the gust of wind extinguishing the candles in the room.

There he stood, the Monkey King, the Jade Emperor in all his terrifying glory. His golden eyes glinted with amusement as he took in the scene before him—a scene of desperate defiance and hopelessness.

"Ah, what a touching reunion," Wukong sneered, stepping into the room with deliberate slowness. His gaze locked onto Y/N, a predatory smile playing on his lips. "Did you think you could hide from me? Did you think you could escape?"

Y/N felt a cold shiver run down her spine as his gaze bore into her. She tried to summon her strength, to muster some form of resistance, but her body betrayed her, trembling under his scrutiny. She could feel her resolve crumbling, her heart pounding in her chest as fear clawed at her throat.

Macaque stepped forward, his stance protective as he placed himself between Y/N and the approaching Monkey King. "Leave her alone, Wukong," he growled, shadows swirling around him in readiness. "She's been through enough."

Wukong chuckled darkly, his eyes narrowing in amusement. "Oh, Macaque, always the gallant protector. But you forget your place. You forget who you're dealing with."

With a flick of his wrist, Wukong summoned a bolt of lightning that struck the floor between them, sending a shockwave that knocked Macaque and Mei back. Y/N screamed, her heart lurching as she watched her friends struggle to their feet, their faces twisted in pain.

"Stop it!" Y/N cried, her voice trembling with desperation. "Please, just stop!"

But Wukong's smirk only deepened. The rage and despair inside her boiled over, and without thinking, Y/N summoned a blade into her hand, its sharp edge glinting in the dim light. In one swift motion, she pointed the sword at her own stomach, her hands trembling but resolute.

"Stay back!" she shouted, the sword pressing against her abdomen. "Or I swear, I'll end it all—my life, and your child!"

For the first time, Wukong's smirk faltered, his eyes widening in shock. "Y/N, put the sword down," he commanded, his voice losing its usual condescension and taking on an edge of panic. "You don't know what you're doing."

"Try me," Y/N spat, pressing the blade closer, feeling its cold steel against her skin. "You've taken everything from me. If you think I'll just let you control me like this, you're wrong. I'd rather die."

Macaque and Mei watched in horror, their hearts pounding in their chests. This was not what they had expected, not what they had hoped for. But in Y/N's eyes, they saw the fire of desperation, of a woman pushed beyond her limits.

"Y/N, please," Wukong pleaded, his tone softening, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity she hadn't seen before. "Just... calm down. We can talk about this. I'll bring back your friends, all of them. Just put the sword down."

Y/N's hand shook as she tightened her grip on the hilt, her mind racing. She wanted to believe him, to believe that there was still a way out of this nightmare. But she had seen too much, endured too much to trust him blindly.

"You'll bring them back?" she asked, her voice breaking as tears welled in her eyes. "All of them?"

"I swear it," Wukong replied, his voice steady, though there was an undercurrent of urgency. "I'm the Jade Emperor. I can do anything. I'll even spare Macaque and Mei. Just... don't do this."

Y/N's heart pounded in her chest as she looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of deceit. She saw none, only a desperate sincerity that made her falter. Slowly, she lowered the sword, the strength draining from her body as the weight of the moment hit her.

"Keep your word, Wukong," she whispered, her voice trembling as she let the sword slip from her fingers and clatter to the ground. "Or I swear, I'll find a way to make you regret it."

Wukong let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding, his shoulders relaxing as he stepped forward and gently took her into his arms. "I promise," he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her temple. "I won't let anything happen to them. You have my word."

But as Y/N leaned against him, her body weak from the emotional turmoil, a part of her couldn't help but wonder if she had just made a deal with the devil. She had gained a small victory, but at what cost? The storm outside raged on, but inside, Y/N's heart was a battlefield, torn between hope and despair, love and hate, life and death.
