The trio walked through the cold realm, the sound of crunchy snow being noticed. following Freya as she attempted to find the so-called portal she was so fond of. She kept rambling about how it was a green swirl that spoke words that sounded like warriors. Her rambling worried Kratos and Mimir. They had never seen the queen of the Valkyries so engrossed in something before. Perhaps since Odin's death, her true heart was beginning to shine after being locked away.

Of course, Kratos and Mimir were both still highly skeptical of Freya, still believing she was delusional or drunk. But for the sake of her hoped-for sobriety, they continued walking.
After a while, they stopped when Freya did.

"What? But it was right here! I know it was!"
*Freya yelled out and began looking around for any clues as to whether he had moved.*

*While Freya was in denial, Kratos helped Mimir off the ground as they exchanged glances.*

"What should we do, brother?"

*Mimir whispered so Freya wouldn't hear.*

"Maybe I could try to talk some sense into her...?"

*Kratos sighed softly and walked toward Freya, allowing Mimir to speak.*

"My lady, have you considered that you might be...I don't know, hallucinating in some way? Perhaps you've had too much to drink?" mead i mean I've been all around nifelheim before me head got chopped off but I've never seen. A portal."

"*He said this, trying to keep spirits high but also trying to sugarcoat it.*

"Quiet, Mimir! I KNOW it was here!"

*She insisted, continuing her search for the portal. She kept searching and searching, eventually her spirit went back down as she sighed with disappointment, as if she went through the stages of grief, finally hitting acceptance.

'Fine...maybe I was..."

*She sighed, her spirit drained. As she began walking back to the travel door, the portal appeared green, and faint sounds of warriors could be heard, just as Freya had said.*

"OH, NOW IT WANTS TO APPEAR!"

*She groaned in frustration.*

"Well, I'll be damned..." Mimir said in shock, Kratos also surprised by the sudden appearance.

*They all surrounded the portal, distant cries still audible. They felt a strong force from it, as if it were calling them.

"Fascinating, isn't it?"
*Freya said, showing more calming signs after her small outburst. As she examined it, a small static noise began coming from the portal. A voice yelled out in fear.*

"If there's anyone on this channel, we need help! The Horde is advancing *quickly*, please!" *The radio crackles and goes silent.*

*The two are still in shock, but Kratos speaks up. "We need to help," *he says.*

*Without a moment's hesitation, Kratos sticks his hand into the portal. He hesitates for a moment, but then fills with determination and is quickly sucked in. Freya nods and follows Kratos through the portal.*
