Young and heartless

First Day

It was a chilly fall day.Klarity was walking to her car for the first day of JR year. She was kind of upset because she had to transfer schools again and she hated new people. On the way to school, she stopped to get her daily Dunkin'. Today she decided to just get a frozen Carmel coffee and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Klarity blasted king von until she approached the school parking lot, filled with unfamiliar faces. She started to feel knots in her stomach because new school meant meeting new people, and she didn't like getting close to people.

"Maybe this the change you need. Start fresh, there is nothing wrong with starting over and change." She heard a voice say. There was no one around, but it was like she had an angel on her shoulderwhen she felt anxious or nervous.

Klarity found a parking spot in a spot where it looked like no one else parked. As she got out the can car looked at herself in the car window. She decided to wear a crop white helmet lang shirt, fashion nova jeans and some white ones with her pink gucci purse. Her bookbag did not come In time, so she was going to buy a new one at the mall later, so she decided to wear her lil brother extra supreme black bookbag. He always let her wear his stuff because she liked boy clothes better. Klarity remembered that her lil brother was starting his freshman year next week at the same school, so she wasn't technically alone. He didn't start this week because of the school messing up his paperwork.

Klarity sat in the car and fixed her hair n put on her lipgloss. After she combed her middle part black bussdown sew-in,Klarity grabbed her coffee and bagel out the car when she seen another car had parked close to her.
"Ugh all these fucking parks and they decide to park next to me." She thought she said in her head but said it out loud.
"Actually, this reserved parking for seniors this year, so you might be in my spot anyway." Klarity turned around with her face frowned up when she heard that. This time she actually thought in her head "who tf they talking to.." but when she looked up she was caught by surprise.
He was brown skin boy with twist in his head and hazel eyes. He was built like an athlete cause he was tall and he had some nice muscles on him. Before she could say anything else, he told her "you good lil mama, you can keep that spot it's mine anyway. I'll park in my homie spot today."
"What a fcking gentlemen, cause I wasn't moving my car anyway." She thought.
"Appreciate it, klarity said. I'm new here, so I just didn't want my car parked next to nobody else's."

Klarity walked away quick. She didn't want any distractions this year because she was already advanced for the classes she was taking. During enrollment, the school told Klarity and her mom that if she can keep up with the senior classes and take her Jr electives, she could skip to a senior before winter break and walk across the stage with them. Since klarity was new and all her friends was seniors at other schools, she wanted to stay focused this year.
