ashlyns eyes fluttered open stinging because of the light.
laying right next to her was her boyfriend-

-his arms resting at her waist. they've only recently started dating so this was the closest they have been.

she thought stroking her fingers through his hair. Just then she realized, they weren't in her room, or his, they were on the couch in her living room.

"shit. Aiden wake up!"
"whaa..." he mumbled half asleep
"you gotta leave before my parents wak-"
She was cut off

"did you two have fun last night?" ashlyns mom asked smiling while walking down the stairs

"yeah we watched a movie it was so fun!" Aiden said energetically.
wasn't he halfasleep a minute ago?

"mom! good morninggg. Aiden was just leaving" ashlyn said smiling while pushing him towards the door.
Emma laughed watching her daughter bicker with the boy she was just cuddling last night.

"ashlyn," Mike called for his daughter
"we need to talk about something.."

ashlyn walked over nervously knowing what this was probably about.

"are you and Aiden.. dating?" her parents asked her.

"uh yeah, I was hoping you guys didn't mind.." she replied

"I knew it!" Emma smirked at Mike putting out her hand as he rolled his eyes
"Ok, here." he said in a tone of annoyance handing her a ten dollar bill.
