"Good morning." Khadeen said as I walked into the kitchen.

I had on a robe and slippers. I didn't get much sleep last night and I probably look like it. Chido and I's relationship problems are starting to stress me out. It's making me regret entering this situation with him. Fortunately, he's heading back home to LA, so I won't have to deal with it face to face.

"How'd you sleep?" My sister asked me.

"Okay. What about you?"

"Like a baby." She said softly.

We started making breakfast together and talking. By eight o'clock everyone was awake. Even Chido, who came downstairs and right in the kitchen like he was looking for me.

"What's up bro? You getting ready to leave?" Khadeen asked him.

I turned my head and noticed he was fully dressed.

"I leave tonight." He announced.

I bit of sadness came over me. The fact that he was leaving so soon and early without telling me really hurt my feelings. I thought we were at least still cool on a friendship level. But, I guess me not wanting to be with him, right now, has him in his feelings.

"I only want bacon and eggs." I tell Khadeen.

"Girl I know," She said rolling her eyes. "Hold on I gotta pee." She said walking out the kitchen.

Devale stepped out to the backyard to smoke. Chido and I were left alone in the kitchen. I didn't know if he wanted me to say sorry or just speak to him in general. I feel like he needs to approach me and let me know where we stand.

"I wanna talk before I go home." Chido finally said as I looked at my phone.

"Talk about what?" I ask him.

"Like, maybe-- Why do you act like that?" He asked making me raise my eyes.

"Act like what nigga?" I ask with an attitude.

"You act like you don't care but when I go back home and I start doing me, you're gonna be sick." Chido said making me laugh a little bit.

"Sick about what? You can do whatever the fuck you wanna do." I tell him

"Why are you raising your voice?" Chido asked standing up. "You wanna cause a scene so bad." He said.

"No I don't, I don't give a fuck. Fuck you." I said before sucking my teeth.

I left the kitchen and went into the living room. Khadeen came out the bathroom and saw me sitting on the couch.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked looking at my face.

"Nothing." I said holding a pillow. "I hate niggas." I said making her laugh.

A part of me wants to my sister because she's my sister. I don't like keeping secrets. But, I think her and Devale would try to force Chido into a serious relationship and we are not ready for that. I could definitely use some big sister advice though.

Everyone started coming down for breakfast and I stayed in the living room. I didn't even wanna look at Chido because I knew that I was gonna get irritated.

"Sakari come here!" Khadeen yelled from the kitchen.

"No you come here!" I yell back.

"Come on," She said making me roll my eyes.

I slid off the couch and went into the kitchen. When I walked in the kitchen I saw Chido looking at me. I made sure to look back and roll my eyes at him so he could see me.
