Jennie POV
As Lisa's went out of the resto, she turned around and waved goodbye at my direction and went inside her car and drove off. I hear a small cough from my side and I see Zico smiling.
"Shall we begin?" He asked with the smile still plastered on his face. I just nod and was about to sit down when he came behind me and tried pulling the chair for me. I mumbled a quick thank you and sat down.
"So what made you interested in our company, Mr. Zico?" I started the conversation.
"I'd like one of your best architects to design my new building here in Korea" He said with a smile.
I looked at my secretary and signal her to give the papers to Zico.
"These papers contains all of our top architects and engineers, Mr. Zico" My secretary said as he handed the papers to Zico.
"Oh wow, you came prepared" He chuckled and accepted the paper and took a look at it.
Minutes passed and a platter of foods suddenly arrived which caught me by surprise.
"I ordered our food a while ago before you arrived, I hope that's okay?" He said looking up to look at me.
"Thank you" I simply said and just started eating. I also made sure my secretary is eating.
"Hmm"
"Is everything alright?" I asked him because he seemed bothered about something.
"Actually, I was hoping Mrs. Kim-Manoban herself would design it?" He smiled ang looked at me. "Have you perhaps met her in person?"
"I have, but I don't know if she has the time" I answered him truthfully and continued cutting my steak.
I don't know if I made it clear but...I think it's obvious that I and Lisa's identity aren't public, nor does anybody from the company knows. Only our close friends and my secretary knows.
The only thing they know is I work at the M&K. Our company is wide spread, it doesn't just focus on one business. We also have our own law firm, hospital chains, hotel chains, restaurant chains, etc. All that is thanked to Lisa and her big brain lol.
"Well that's just disappointing" He said half jokingly. I just raised my eyebrow at him.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Zico. But, I'm sure you know how the owners identity is private...yes?" I spoke seriously and put down my utensils.
"I know, I just thought she might reveal herself to me. You know since I'm also famous and maybe way more richer than her wife?" He laughed as he put down the papers on the table. I clenched my jaw at what he said, I was about to talk when he spoke again.
"Can you ask her to make a consideration of my request, Ms. Jennie?" I look at him dead in the eyes and showed him a fake smile.
"Sure, Mr. Zico" I just answered shortly. I lost my appetite and excused myself to the bathroom.

After I returned from the bathroom, Zico is now nowhere to be found. I looked at my secretary confused.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Kim. He left just a moment ago. He said he had a plane to catch and he already paid for all the food" My secretary said and made a small bow...which is unnecessary.
"No need to bow" I responded and gave her a small smile. I took my phone out and called Lisa quickly. After she ended the call, I look at my secretary who is still standing awkwardly.
"You can go home now, I booked you a grab. I'll see you tomorrow" She smiled and bowed to thank me and went out.

JENNIE POV
"So, how did the meeting go?" Lisa asked as she types away on her laptop.
"The guy was arrogant" I answered her shortly as I read my book.
"Why?" She chuckles.
"He said he wanted to meet the Mrs. Kim-Manoban and wants me to personally design his company" Annoyance can be heard from my voice. I hear her chuckle one more time before closing her laptop and placing it on bed side table.
"So? Are you gonna personally design it for him" She teased. I rolled my eyes at her comment and also closed the book I was reading.
"Shut up, I won't accept his offer. I don't care if he's some big shot or whatever"
"Love, you need to control your temper" She softly said and looked at me.
"Lisa, he literally belittled you" I look at her seriously. I can handle people talking shit about me, but when it comes to Lisa...I will hunt that person down.
"It's alright, he doesn't know who he's talking about" She paused and took both of my hands in hers. "I don't care what anyone thinks."
"Is everything okay?" I asked instead. I know she's been stressed lately, but I don't know why.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" She smiled. "As long as you are here safe and sound, I'm okay" She said softly kissed my hands.
"Whatever" I replied, rolling my eyes.
"Let's sleep?" She said and laid down on our bed. I didn't say anything and just laid next to her. I turned around to face her because she was facing my back when I laid down.
We looked at each other's face, memorising every bit of it. It seems like she never aged. She leaned in to give me a kiss on my forehead down to my nose and lips.
"You're blushing" She chuckled. I just hit her playfully and hid my face under the blanket.
"Shut up, I'm sleeping"
"Sure nini, sure" She chuckled and also hid her face under the blanket. Now we're face to face again.
"Goodnight love" She said and kissed me again on the forehead. This time I smiled.
"Goodnight, lili" I said and also kissed her on the lips
