And just like that, the mission started.

- We already know a weak spot. We've learnt them all, while waiting for our saviors. We didn't have a place to go and live our lifes, but now that you're here...

- I guarantee each one of you a house and a piece of land. I'll do everything I can so you get back what you lost.

- Thank you, your Highness.

- Just call me Y/n, please. Let's move on with the plan. Are there any problems?

- It's just that... Cerberus is always near that wall. It is a weak spot. A secret way to the palace is probably hidden right behind it. The wall sounds like it's too thin.

- Okay. We can take care of this, don't we?- I looked at Chris. He nodded, caressing my back.

- Who knows how to draw well? We need a map.

- I got it.- A young man took a little notebook out the pocket of his ripped jacket.

- That's great! Ten of you, follow him and keep informing each other if Cerberus is anywhere near. We need to know where he is usually walking and if he sleeps for a few hours.

- Yes, your Highness!

The next group, twenty people, was ready.
- You should make something that will make it easier to dig our way out. Rocks, wood, and anything else you find.

- Yes, your Highness!- They started working.

I smiled, turning to the twenty people standing next to me.

- Get ready to dig.

- Yes, your Highness!

I turned my head to look at the nine little kids that were staring at me in admiration.

- You, little fellas, sit down and tell me more about you.

While trying to make a weapon by sharpening a long wooden stick, I listened to the little ones talking. We were sitting around a fire lamp.

- So, how is it, being a princess?- A girl asked me with a curious and excited smile.

- Well... It can be hard, sometimes.- I felt someone taking the stick from my hands. Looking up I saw Christopher. He sat down beside me, nudging my hand before starting to sharpen the weapon. I felt happy just by looking at him.

An hour passed since we saw eachother and I already missed him. I smiled, slightly caressing his back.

- But you're so strong, you wouldn't care about the difficulties, would you?- He playfully asked them.

- No! We're strong!- The kids yelled in sync.

- ... Is Mr. Christopher your prince then?

We looked at eachother, stunned at the little girl's question.

- N-

- Yes. He is.- I interrupted Chris. He nearly broke his neck by how fast he turned to face me. The kids around us clapped happily, and I met his eyes. I lowered my voice so the kids couldn't hear:

- What? You wanna explain to them what a consort is?- I simpered, teasing him.

- I am your consort?

It was my turn to look at him confusedly:

- Then what are you? My friend?

- No! I mean... Consort is... An official title... - I noticed his ears turning red and laughed.

- Okay, my petite prince. I'll give you the title officially as soon as we get back to our palace.- His neck started taking a redish shade as well, creeping up on his face.
