10. Horse riding

As soon as I stepped in the room, I sighed. I will be able to see Chris tomorrow, when we leave the palace.

The day was passing painfully slow. The girls came back after two hours, looking at me with sympathy.

- How are you?- Yuli, the tall blonde, caressed my back. I just smiled.

- I am good. No need to worry! I was expecting his actions. He's an asshole after all.- We laughed together.

They hugged me, and I silently hoped to see them again in the future.

*Next day*

I was forced to wear a bedlah again, since we were supposed to wait for Nicholas's return and dance for the "king". It was really funny, since the king was supposed to be San. But no one would treat him like one. He came in the palace but no one batted an eye. They just bowed in respect. He seemed disappointed. I still felt bad, remembering the times we were little kids and played in the garden together.

- The king and his son are starting their way to the coronation!- A man shouted as they were moving out.

Sarah grabbed my hand and we started running.

- There are some secret ways to get out of the palace.

- I'll figure it out. You go and open the door I showed you. Help the people get out and send them right to my palace. You gather all the slaves and take the girls. (The dancers) with you. I want everyone who suffered here to attend the coronation.

Sarah nodded.
- Yes, your Highness.

I left. I ran without looking back. Christopher was with Nicholas.

I got on a horse and started my way.

I just arrived, running to the crowd. A hand suddenly grabbed mine, I nearly screamed. But then I saw Chris. My eyes widened, I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back, then taking off his large coat and hanging it off my shoulders. A warm feeling spread in my chest, I kissed his cheek after taking off my veil. We were standing behind the crowd so no one noticed us.

- I missed you so much, Love.- He left a peck on my lips. I blushed, sighing in relief as his strong hands held my waist. He took two steps and stood behind me, leaning down and kissing my neck lovingly.

- I missed you too. So much I wanted to cry.- I smooched his cheek.

It started.

- Our distinguished guests, our crowning guests, respected officials who are here this evening, generous parents of the members of the royal court, guards, professors, students, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good evening.

We are gathered here, to Witness the Coronation Ceremonies of the Members of the Royal Court. Her Majesty Queen Diana Joy Dior and His Majesty King Rowan Won Versace are going to decide who is going to be the next king of our State. I am sure that your enthusiasm and excitement are still soaring high, because for sure our royal court will be more astounding this evening. - Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to the Foundation Anniversary Coronation Ceremonies. To formally start this affair, may we request everybody to please stand and let us lift our hands to God for his blessings, guidance and protection and that everything we do this evening is according to His Divine Will through an Invocation to be led by my Mrs. May Mon Scher.
