Alice POV

May seven, seven in the evening...i was the witness of my dad's merciless murder. I was eight that time, too innocent, too young to be the witness of a case. That horrible, horror scene that i witness kills my mental health. I can't say  a word kapag nagtatanong saakin yung lawyer ni dad the only thing that i did everytime they ask me a question about my father's murder is a cry, a cry of trepidation.

"Bakit ayaw mog magsalita? just tell them the truth Alice, who killed your father!"that was mom, forcing me while gripping both of my arm while she's in tears. She's mad, she's really mad at me kasi hindi ako makasagot.

And because of that kinamumuhian na nya ako.

Everyone thinks that my mother treat us her children equally and fairly, No she's not. I am Alice the fifth child of Amanda D'Gloria and Simon D'Gloria. We are one of the well-known and wealthiest family in the world of business. After my dad died, mom and my three eldest brother were the one who handle my dad's business and yeah mostly each member of my family is so busy at ang tanging ka bonding ko lang ay mga pinsan ko, mga anak sa kapatid ng dad ko.

Tonight, we will be having a  family dinner together with my brother's wife. Mom wants to bond with ate Vivian since mom wants an apo, cause she thinks that she's too old for being a 50 year old rich and single mom. We're all sitting in a long table  together with ate Vivian's parents, sa tabi ko naman ay si ate Alleyson, my Kuya Aiken fiance.

Everyone were so busy talking about the baby in ate Vivian's tummy and i saw how uncomfortable she is. Well... arrange marriage do really exist in real life and it sucks kasi lahat ng ginagawa nyong mag asawa ay sapilitan and that's not love anymore that's force and mercy love.

"I wish the baby will be a son cause i want him to be the next heir of your company anak."napatigil ako sa pagkain ng sinabi 'yon ni mom lahat kami napatingin sa mag asawa.

"H-Ha...a-an—"

"Mom, Vivian is three weeks pregnant wag magmadali."Kuya Aldrick is right mukha kasing pinipressure ni mom sina Ate Vivian at Kuya.

"What do you think Vivian?"hindi pinansin ni mom ang sinabi ni Kuya kaya ibinaling nito ang tingin kay ate Vivian who's looking at her husband with fear in her eyes.

"A-Ahmm, baka nga po."she just said and then smile, her smile fades when i saw kuya give him a death glare. Agad naman napatikom ng bibig si ate Vivian and she started slicing the meat na nasa plato nya.

Hindi naman ako nagtagal sa haponan na 'yon i am really out of place everytime my mom wants a family dinner. I decided na umalis muna sa bahay and i want to take my night at Jihiros house, bago ako pumunta don sinabihan ko yung driver ko na we should stop at seven eleven gonna buy some stuff for my late night snack.

"Oh ija."it was Jihiro's mom who open the door, i am wearing my pajamas habang hawak-hawak ko yung mga pinamili kong pagkain.

"Is it okay tita if dito muna ako matulog?"she smile and nod.

"Alice you're always welcome in the house."she said. I am greatful that Jihiro's mom is so nice to me, she treats me na parang anak na nya talaga ako, and I'm happy tito Henry found a good wife.

"Tulog na po ba sila?"tanong ko habang naglalakad kami patungo sa guest room.

"Oh, Jehro may bisita sya and Jihiro is with them. Nasa kwarto sila ngayon ni Jehro, gusto mo bang pumunta don?"

"Okay lang po ba, hindi ba ako nakakakaisturbo sakanila?"pag-aalinlangan kung tanong, baka kasi school stuff yung ginagawa nila don.

"No, hindi naman ija. It's just Jehro and Jihiro's childhood friends."ohh, maybe its the Dela Cruz siblings. Tango lang ang naisagot ko dahil wala na akong masabi.
