Third person’s POV :/

Aurora slowly opened her eyes and stretched her arms above her head, feeling the soft fabric of her bedsheet against her skin. She glanced out the window; the sun was just peeking over the horizon, casting a warm, golden hue over her room.

Aurora sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes groggily, still half-asleep. She looked around her room, and her gaze fell upon a small pile of clothes placed on a chair nearby. It was her first day of school, and she could't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness bubbling up inside her.

Aurora slipped out of bed and walked over to the pile of clothes. She picked up a crisp, new uniform shirt and examined it closely. It was a white polo shirt with the school's embroidered crest - a golden sun over a background of blue and green.

Aurora put on the rest of her uniform, making sure each piece was properly buttoned, tucked in, and adjusted. After she was fully dressed, she stood in front of the mirror, taking stock of her reflection :) She looked like a proper student ready for her first day at school.

Just as Aurora finished adjusting her uniform, a gentle knock on the door preceded her mother's voice. "Aurora, honey, are you up?".... "Yeah, I'm up," Aurora called back, her voice still somewhat groggy from sleep. She walked over to the door and opened it to reveal her mother standing in the doorway, a warm smile on her face.

Aurora's mother chuckled gently and ruffled her daughter's unruly hair. "Oh, look at that sleepyhead," she teased, her tone affectionate. "Did you remember to brush your teeth?".Aurora's eyes widened in realization, and a sheepish look crossed her face. "Umm...not yet," she admitted, her voice small and apologetic.

Aurora's mother shook her head in mock disappointment, her smile betraying her amusement. "Oh, Aurora, you always forget the important things," she said, pretending to sound stern. "Go brush your teeth before we have breakfast"....."Okay, okay, I'm going," Aurora replied, her voice a mix of embarrassment and determination. She scurried to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

After a few minutes, Aurora emerged from the bathroom, her mouth clean and fresh, her teeth newly brushed. Her mother was waiting patiently in the hallway, leaning against the wall. "All done?" she asked, a satisfied smile on her face."Yep, all done," Aurora confirmed, her tone a touch more confident now. "Now let's go have some breakfast, okay? We have a big day ahead of us."...."Okay," Aurora agreed, a sense of anticipation and eagerness building up inside her. She followed her mother into the kitchen, the scent of breakfast wafting through the air, further fueling her excitement for the day ahead.

In the kitchen, Aurora spotted the table already set, a plate filled with fluffy pancakes, eggs, and a glass of fresh orange juice. Her stomach rumbled with hunger, and she quickly took her seat, her eyes fixed on the delicious breakfast laid out before her.

Aurora's mother placed a glass of milk beside her plate and ruffled her hair affectionately once again. "Dig in, sweetie," she encouraged, giving Aurora a warm smile before taking her own seat across from her daughter.

With a grin, Aurora immediately reached for the syrup and started decorating her pancakes with the sticky sweet liquid. She shoveled a large forkful into her mouth, relishing the fluffy, slightly chewy texture and the maple flavor.

As Aurora continued to enjoy her breakfast, her mother watched her with a mixture of affection and pride. "Someone seems hungry," she remarked, amusement lacing her tone."Mhm," Aurora managed to reply between mouthfuls, her cheeks slightly puffed out with food. "It's really good!" she added, her words slightly garbled but her enthusiasm evident."I'm glad you like it," Aurora's mother chuckled, taking a sip of her own coffee. "Just remember to eat a bit more slowly, dear. You don't want to choke on your food."
