SHE FEARED MANY THINGS. She feared spiders, insects and even people at one point in her life. But nothing mattered at that moment because even without spiders and insects, she was afraid the most at the time.

She heard exclaims and screams of agony. She heard commanding shouts and destruction. She heard sirens and cries. But all she could see was darkness.

For a moment then, she felt normal but a second later, she panicked.

Everything went blank.

It felt like nothing when she retrieved her senses but when she did, she realised that she passed out. She felt numb all over and it was as though she was touching nothing, like she was floating in space.

She couldn't hear anything for a few moments before whispers filled her ears. Those whispers turned into murmurs and those turned into soft talks.

Speaking. Language. Voices. There were people surrounding her.

She panicked for the second time and it was like that all over again, blank and empty.

She passed out.

When she regained consciousness, it was quiet. Suddenly, she heard beeping noises, repetitive and slow and of constant speed. She couldn't panic. There was nothing to panic about.

But it was then that she was supposed to panic.

Warmth made contact with her arm. Her arm, she felt it when the warmth touched her. At first she felt comfortable but then she felt odd.

She felt her back touch the cold air. Air. It was cold. She could feel her entire body and it was like she was suddenly thrown upwards.

Confusion consumed her and it was like she was engulfed in a warm embrace as she felt the cold wind contrast the warmth that touched her skin.

Then she heard a crash, followed by panicked voices before she felt nothing.

She had lost consciousness for the third time.

She couldn't see a thing. She physically couldn't see. But she could feel the brightness as though it was an interruption.

Then she gasped, her eyes still shut.

She started to gain a feel of her hands, then her head, then she gained control over her body.

She peeled her eyes open but soon regretted it, squinting them as to cover the bright light that shone at her.

She tried to move her arms and legs but to no avail. She was trapped. The brightness subsided and she began to look around.

From her perspective, she could only see one side of a room. She didn't recognise it. Panic arose in her but she maintained her consciousness.

She twisted her arms and legs before looking down at them, realising that she was strapped tightly onto a chair, too strong for her to break.

Her breathing accelerated and her head began to feel heavy. Just then, footsteps sounded from behind her.

She waited. It felt like a long time but she waited. Until he appeared in front of her. Blue hair, lousy shirt, scars all over his body.

She felt relieved, just for one second, that the presence was a human. Only for a second.

The second after that, however, her breath hitched and her heart rate increased in speed.

When he spoke, she could feel goosebumps all over her arms and legs.

"Welcome home, F/n."
