What I Can Do for Now

A week passed since the entrance exam, and around this time the examines who took the exam should have gotten their results by now.

Erza POV

I was sitting in the table with Aizawa while drinking tea.

"So what do you think about this year's picks?" I asked while sipping tea.

Aizawa just signed while taking a drink of his tea. "I'll see if they're worth keeping after the quirk assessment test. Especially that kid."

I nodded. "I agree with you. He may of passed but only because there was hero points that were kept hidden from them."

I took a sip of my tea. "But still, I believe he may just be one of the few who truly have a heart of a hero." But then I turned serious

"However, having that won't get him anywhere if he can't control his quirk." I said with a serious voice.

Aizawa nodded. "Yeah, it's cruel to let a kid dream on becoming a hero when instead of helping others he himself needs help just because he can't control his own power. He'll make things worse than better."

I took a sip of tea. "(You're lucky that there was more to the test than just getting villain points. But the true test comes on the first day of school. So be ready to give it your all, Izuku Midoriya.)"

Midoriya POV

I sighed. "(Based on my own estimates, I barely passed the written part of the exam. Not that it really matters since I ended up with a big, fat zero in the mock battle. Not a single point. And ever since the exam, I haven't been able to get in touch with All Might.)" I thought while sitting on the couch.

I then heard my mom's voice. "I know. Waiting for the results is terrible."

"I guess."

"No matter what, I just want you to know I'm proud of you, and I think you're really cool, sweetie." She said encouraging.

I wasn't really listening to her. "Sure."

I then grabbed my dumbbell that was on the floor next to the couch and began lifting.

"(All Might, somehow, some way, you saw potential in me. But I failed, I let both of us down so much. I'm sorry. But I'll keep trying.)"

As I was continuing on lifting my dumbbell I heard my mom opening the door after coming from checking the mail, and I was surprised to see her crawling in the floor towards me and looking frantic.

"A letter, Izuku. They came, Izuku. Look! You got a letter!

She then held out her hand that contained the letter in.

"They're here! Your test results from U.A!

I looked at the letter, and was scared. I took the letter and headed to my room to look at it.

I was sitting in a chair in front of my desk and was staring at the U.A letter that laid right in front of me.

I grunted and grabbed the letter and ripped it open. When i did a some sort of device fell in my desk, then a projector screen appeared right before me and it was All Might.

I got startled and yelp. "Booya! I am here as a projection now!" All Might said.

"(Wait, All Might?!)"

I looked from the projection to the ripped paper envelope in my hand. "But this is from... U.A, isn't it?" I was so confused why is he there.
