51. ATTENTION

After six months of desperation, torture and mental trauma, I met my family, my true family. I know my sudden appearance and revelation as Mafia queen Heaven is too much for them to handle. But the way they received me is just make my heart swell with love towards them.

This is what we call family

I'm feeling cared, loved and protected

Finally I'm home

I was sitting on the couch, surrounded by my brother's. These five guys hugging me like I'm a teddy bear, I just can't even breath that's how tightly they hugged me. Their sobs and cryings echoed the hall. There's a smile on my face.

"It's okay guys.... Don't cry my babies." I said patting the two guys who sat down clinging to my both legs. I take a look at them.

Taehyun, Beomgyu, Kai they sat down clinging to my legs, while Yeonjunie on my right side, Soobin on my left side occupied my both shoulders crying hard.

My thoughts got interrupted by a person who cleared their throat. I look up at him.

It's Taehyung

His expressions are jealous and full of amusement. I understand that he was feeling a little confused after seeing their clinginess with me. I laughed at his expressions.

"Okay okay, let me breath, you guys are literally killing me. Not because of bomb blast but now because of your tight hugs I am about to die" I said jokingly but immediately regretted.

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK LIKE THAT DAMN IT."

Everyone in the hall shouted at me in unison. I literally flinched.

"Please don't ever talk like that, you don't know what we went through when you were gone. It was hell. Don't joke about death."

Tae said sternly, his gaze boring into mine, digging holes at my soul. The others in the room nodded in agreement, their expressions serious and grave. I felt a pang of guilty and regret wash over me as I looked at their faces.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean anything by it, I was just trying to joke around. But I understand now that it was insensitive and thoughtless of me. Please forgive me."

I pleaded but Tae stayed quite, his arms folded across his chest. His eyes still held a hint of anger, and I know he was hurt by my careless words.

I slowly moved towards him, trying to hug him, but he didn't return the embrace. He looked at me for a moment, looking at my puppy eyes which is his weakness. His expressions unreadable, before finally wrapping his arms around me reluctantly.

I buried my head in his chest, feeling the tension between us gradually ease. I knew I had hurt him deeply with my words, and I would have to make it up to him in the coming days.

Tae held me tightly, his grip not as strong as usual. I could feel the anger and hurt still lingering in him, but he was trying to push it aside.

"I don't ever want to hear words like that again. Promise me." He said quietly, his voice a mixture of anger and sadness.

I instantly nodded against his chest, my heart heavy with remorse. "I promise, I'm so sorry for hurting you. I'll never do anything like that again. I swear." I said my voice still muffled.
