Talking to Trey

Luckily, the party didn't last long, as Riddle soon had to leave. Once he left, the others followed suit as Y/n left.

Y/n went to find her friends and found them waiting for her. She went over to them and asked if they were okay. "Are you guys okay?" she asked.
"Mraw! Not really! I want to smack Riddle in the face!!" Grim yelled.
"For once, I agree with this fur ball. Man, I'm so mad! I spent so much time on that chestnut tart for him, and what did he do? Threw it in my face!" Ace shouted.
"You think you're mad? I'm mad, too! We spent a long time making those tarts! Our hard work gone to waste!" Deuce yelled.
"Besides that, I don't understand why Riddle needs all those rules. It does make him sound like a tyrant," Yuu admitted.
"It does seem weird why Riddle became what he is now. I wonder if something happened that caused him to be like this," Y/n said.
"Who cares!? Riddle is nothing more but a childish person and a tyrant!!" Ace shouted.

Laughter suddenly came out of nowhere, causing the group to freeze. They looked around, trying to find who was laughing. Before freaking out when they saw a head floating.
"Ahhh! A floating head!!" Grim shouted in terror.
The floating head was a male with random purple hair and yellow eyes. He had cat features and a cat-like grin on his face. The rest of his body soon revealed itself as this creeped the boys out, but not Y/n, who saw crazier things.
"Who are you?" Y/n asked.

This surprised all the males as to how she wasn't freaking out. But the new person laughed as he introduced himself. "My name is Aruchēmi Aruchēmievichi Pinkā, but Chenya for short," he said.
"What the hell is that name? That's not even a name but random words put together!" Ace stated.
"Hm, true! But it's my name!" Chenya said with a smile.
"By the way, I've not seen you before. Which dorm are you from?" Deuce asked.
"Hm~ guess!" Chenya replied.
"Ah, uhm, you have cat ears and a tail, so Savannaclaw?" Deuce asked.
Chenya booed. "Nope! But enough of about me—I overheard your little problem with Riddle," he said.
"Yes, that's right—do you know him?" Ace asked.
Chenya let out a chuckle. "Not quite, but if you want to know who does, it's Trey! He knows all about Riddle as he is childhood friends with him," he said.
"Huh!? So Trey is childhood friends with Riddle?! Never thought he was, and he didn't seem like it," Ace said.
Chenya nodded. "If you want to know about Riddle and how he became the way he was, I suggest you seek Trey out, but enough about that. I should head back. See you," he said before vanishing away, but not before putting a kiss on the back of Y/n's hand.
Y/n blushed as the males behind her looked irritated when he did that. However, they didn't stay mad as they began discussing what to do.
"So what now?" Ace asked.
"We go find Trey and talk to him," Yuu said.
"But where is Trey?" Deuce asked.
"Maybe in the dorm?" Grim responded.
Y/n decided to help them by directing them to where Trey had gone since she knew where he went. "He went to the library to do some afternoon studying," she said.
"The library, huh? Alright! Let's go!" Ace said.
Everyone agreed as they soon headed toward the school's library.

The walk to the school's library wasn't long, as they arrived at their destination. They walked inside the library and searched for Trey. There, they found him reading a book at a table.
"There you are!" Ace shouted as he pointed at Trey.
Trey jumped at the sudden shout and looked to see who shouted. He saw Ace and the others as his mood went down. He still felt guilty for not helping the group from being kicked out of the unbirthday party. "Oh, hey, guys," he said.
"Don't hey me—spill what you know!" Ace shouted.
Trey was confused by Ace's sudden words. "Huh? What do you mean?" He asked.
Seeing his confusion, Yuu decided to explain. "Sorry about him. We went to find you after finding out some valuable information, mostly about you being childhood friends with Riddle," he explained.
Trey seemed shocked at this. "How did you know Riddle and I were childhood friends?" He asked.
"Someone from another dorm here told us. We want to know what happened to Riddle when growing up. The person said you'd know since you grew up with Riddle," Yuu explained.
Upon hearing this, Trey sighed as he removed his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose before putting them back on. "I see. So this is why you were looking for me," he said.
Everyone nodded as Trey began telling what happened to Riddle. They didn't expect Riddle to grow up in a strict household with a demanding mother. Some felt bad for Riddle for going through that, but something didn't sit right with them, especially Ace.
"You're at fault," Ace said straight to Trey's face.
"What do you mean?" Trey asked, confused.
"It's your fault for not standing up for Riddle! Because of you chickening out, Riddle grew up in such an environment! Some friend you are! No wonder Riddle grew up the way he is now! ITS YOUR FAULT!" Ace yelled as he pointed at Trey.
"Hey, Ace! You're being loud!" Deuce said.
"I AGREE!! WHY ARE YOU ALL YELLING!? THIS IS A LIBRARY!" Crowley said as he came out of nowhere.
"Hey, you're loud too! Heck! You're louder than all of us!" Ace stated.
"Ah! Oops! My bad!" Crowley said.
"Why are you here, Headmaster Crowley?" Y/n asked.
Crowley turned to Y/n before looking away. His face behind the mask turned red as he thought she looked beautiful in the outfit. Y/n still wore the costume from the unbirthday party that strangely hadn't disappeared after Trey's magic had worn off.
