Everything keeps getting worse

CAMILA'S POV

I woke up. Last night was crazy. I'm still in bed with my outside clothes. I walk out of my bedroom and notice Diablo and Diego both sitting and watching TV. I come over and sit in between them.

"No more walking alone alright?" Diego says.

I nod and smile. He smells like shit. He probably drank last night. We watch TV like that for a while and suddenly I get a call. I go over to my room to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hi Camila this is Linda. I just wanted to say that there is an urgent meeting in the bakery at 2 pm."

"Alright" I hung up and went to the shower.

I get ready and get all nicely dressed. Diego walks with me to bakery. I walk in the back and notice all the employees there. I get worried.

A guy with a nice suit walks in.

"Hello Ladies. My name is John. I'm Lunes son. I have sad news to inform you all. Lunes died yesterday. And the bakery belongs to me now. I have already a business and I see no point of keeping this bakery alive. So I'm going to sell it. Tomorrow is the last day of bakery. Thank you"

My stomach drops. I walk out the bakery and notice Diablo standing there. Waiting for me.

"Why the long face?" Diablo asks.

"Grandma Lunes died. And now her stuck up arogant son is selling the bakery. Fuckin hell"

We both start walking towards home.

"I mean if the business doesn't bring much money then why keep it"

"That is the point. It has potential. Ugh! If I had the chance to turn it upside down. It would be a bakery/ cafe. And in the evenings we could host those drink/ paint activities! It would be filled with people. Alive and young. And we could work more. Have two shifts and such."

"Wow...look at you. Have it all figured out. Why don't you buy the bakery?"

"Me? He is selling it for 105k... Just the place. Not stuff included. It's too much"

"I'm sure life will be on your side" Diablo smiles.

We get back home and find Diego waiting for us.

"I scheduled an important meeting in few weeks. I want you both there. I'll let you know which restaurant. Come dressed nicely!" Diego tells us.
