BREAK THIS IS BREAKING POINT || An IDFB Fanfic

'Stress, Anxiety, all that. (Don't you love to see it!)'

After BFDIA ended a lot of things have changed. Fries had started a Growtatoe garden, Firey-... is in a cage? Only Freesmart, Golfball and Tennisball know the reason, Leafy is who knows where, most people are trying to forget about her (A/N: not what Firey did just yknow get her outa ur head), But Pin? Pin is a wreck. The game gave her something to do! Without having anything to do, she made herself do something! Then she keeps doing it and then it gets too much and that leads to a lot of stress!

Well at least Coiny is there for her...

Coiny has been Pin's source of peace. They've been hanging out a lot more recently. Of course Pin is still being the same wreck and can't get thoughts out of her head 'what if I'm being clingy? What if he's my friend out of pity? What if he hates me? What if I'm being manipulative?' that whole thing.

Right now Pin is walking around the city aimlessly, thinking of something to do. Maybe a nature walk? That might clear her thoughts. Yeahhhh... They used to work but who knows now? Everything's falling apart so why would stuff she used to do to calm down even work!? NOTHING EVER WORKS!

Nevermind that... The thumbtack walked through the city waving to objects she walked by. As her feet touched the purple grass of yoyleland Pin couldn't help but shiver. She didn't know why.

As she walked further away from the city she noticed something. Smoke. Probably from a campfire right? But who would be out here anyway? The only object she could think of was... oh... But didn't she die? Who would even care about her?! 'I would' she thought to herself. Well if her suspicions were correct, why not say hello? 'You tried to murder her? You think it'd be a warm welcome?!' She pushed her thoughts back and she walked towards the smoke. 

She started to get nervous the more she walked. She litterally LEAD THE MISSION TO KILL LEAFY but she kept going nonetheless. She eventually just stopped. She couldn't do this right now. All the possibilities scared her. For pin factories sake Leafy could KILL her! She sighed and kept going forward. She'd be fine right?

As she walked further she picked up some yoyleberries for later. If you ignore the metal side effects it's nice for baking. In the distance she could see the lemon leaf, metal, but it was her. The Thumbtack walked closer before Leafy noticed and threw a knife at her out of impulse, Causing Pin to fall backwards in fear (A/N: it didn't hit her dw)

Pin threw her hands up in surrender "AH! UHM D-DONT HURT ME PLEASE!" She begged shaking. The metal leaf sighed "Pin you know I wouldn't kill you... especially with the recovery centers being down and everything..." she said. Pin didn't reply she just nodded still staying on the ground shaking. Leafy groaned "Cmon, sit over here" she said walking over to the campfire and patting the spot next to her. Pin slowly got up and sat down next to the leaf.

"Why are you here?" Leafy asked biting on a yoyleberry "I went on a walk and saw the smoke.. so I uh... followed it." The other object said rubbing her arm. The lemon leaf nodded, she also noticed how Pin's been acting. "Hey uhm... are you alright Pin?" She asked. Pin flinched. She hated that question "I'm fine alright?" she said trying her hardest to be believable, Leafy, of course, wasn't convinced "Don't lie to me Pin..." She said. The thumbtack looked away.

"Listen... I know it's not that great between me and you or rather me and anyone and I'm not the best therapist but I do know a bit about emotions. After all I AM isolated from society.". Pin sighed "I don't know why I'm being like this... I think something's wrong with me, I just keep making myself do stuff and I know I can't keep this going but I need to do something! So I keep doing it over and over again and it's really stressing me out and everything's to much..!" She admits. Weird. She never admits that much to anyone. She couldn't even pay attention to the fact she was shaking, she was a fucking mess and she hated herself for that!

Why couldn't she just be normal? Why couldn't she j- "Hey, hey, calm down..." Leafy said cutting off the thumbtack's thought process. "S-sorry" she muttered "Why would you apologize for that? Seriously, if this is that big of a problem tell someone you're close to. like Coiny maybe?" Leafy suggests. Pin nods hesitantly.

"Uhm if you don't mind me change the subject... didnt you... die?" Pin asked. The lemon leaf sighed, knowing this was coming "Yeah uh, Firey brought me back.". Pin paused "is that why he's in that cage?" she whispered. "Wait what. He's... W-WHAT!?" Leafy didn't know how he managed to miss that? She had been watched but how did she miss that?! "Oh uhm... yeah Freesmart put him in a cage hanging off the Yoyle Needy... Only they, Golfball and Tennisball know why but uh... it might be because of you. No offense." The thumbtack explained

Leafy couldn't deny it wasn't a smart punishment, with his fear of heights and all but they put him in a cage!? A CAGE! LIKE HE WAS A FUCKING ANIMAL? "why would they do that..." she muttered sadly. Pin sighed "I know... some people keep him company sometimes... like Gelitan, Me, surprisingly Coiny? His screaming has stopped... I think he can't anymore... makes me really sad for the guy..." 

That hurt Leafys heart more than should could even describe. Sure she was still mad at him for ignoring her and pretending to not know her, sure she was still mad at him for leaving her there after they crashed, but she still cared about him. Nothing could change that. "Do you uh... you do you I could try talking to him? Like... secretly?" She asked. Pin thought about it "I could try help? I don't know how but I could try? You could... give it a go." The thumbtack replied.

Leafy nodded "tomorrow..." Pin nodded in return however with noticeable hesitation. "Uh... mind if I stay here for a while? It's nice out here." Pin asked "Oh of course! I would never reject company..." The lemon leaf replied. Pin mouthed 'thank you'.

They talked for quite a while, you could barely even notice the sun go down.

Coiny was starting to worry a bit. Pin was never gone this long and it was even more concerning knowing the mental state she was in right now. He knew he was overreacting but this was Pin we were talking about! Eh whatever he'll find something else to do. Might as well keep Firey company... it's been a while since he's done that.

Coiny made his way over to the Yoyle Needy and climbed up the stairs. When he reached the top he sat down on the edge and look down on the cage that was hanging from the Needle. Firey sat inside it, Head in his knees and shaking. Sure Coiny pretended to hate him but in reality it was there was of showing their stupid friendship. Seeing him like this hurt him. Coiny didn't know what he did but did it really deserve this?

"Hey" Coiny said to the flame whose eyes slowly blinked open to look at the coin creature "Oh... uh hi Coiny..." Firey replied with a nervous wave. He's learnt to not look down and try to forget that he's high up. It doesn't work that well though. 'You'd know quite a lot about trying to forgetting things wouldn't you' Firey couldn't help but think to himself.

The wind pushed the cage causing Firey to flinch gripping the bars of the cage harder. The coin frowned at that "Hey I brought this for you" Coiny said gently tossing a bag of chips on the top of the cage. Firey blinked for a bit before hesitantly reaching to grab the bag "thank you" he said quietly. Coiny smiled a tiny bit "How've you been?" He asked, 'that's a stupid question he's stuck in a CAGE.' Coiny thought after asking that.

Firey paused "oh spark I really hate it in here..." he whispered. He's been trying his hardest not to cry... if he cried it would hurt more, and if he could stop the tiniest bit of pain he would. Who knew it would be so hard?

The sorrow in his voice broke Coiny's heart. "You'll get out of there... I promise..." The coin reassured. Sure it wasn't much but it was enough to make Firey smile. Knowing someone cared about him. 

"Thank you..."

WHY IS WRITING THIS SO FUN HUH?! Why'd I give y'all Leafpin and Fireoiny when I hate those ships and it's a Coinpin and Fireafy story... uh idk.

MAN I HATED WRITING SS CHAPTER BECAUSE IT FELT LIKE A CHORE AND IT FELT TIME CONSUMING BUT THIS IS GENUINELY FUN?! Anyway Uhm this is kinda a lot for a first chapter isn't it?

Anyway see u next chapter or something heheheh
