The early evening had brought a cool breeze to the city as Irene made her way to the café where she and her sister, Jisoo, often met. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow that filtered through the café's large windows. It was a haven for their heart-to-heart conversations, and tonight, Irene felt the weight of her emotions more acutely than ever.

Entering the café, Irene spotted Jisoo at their usual table near the window. Her sister's face lit up with a bright smile upon seeing her. Jisoo stood up and embraced Irene warmly, her presence immediately soothing.

"Irene, it's wonderful to see you," Jisoo said, her voice infused with genuine affection.

"I'm really glad we could meet," Irene replied, her voice barely masking her fatigue. "Thank you for making the time."

They settled into their seats, the familiar surroundings offering a comforting sense of normalcy. Jisoo noticed the tiredness etched into Irene's features, her concern growing.

"You look like you've been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders," Jisoo remarked gently. "What's been going on?"

Irene took a deep breath, the comfort of Jisoo's presence coaxing her to open up. "It's about Lisa. I've been trying to be her rock, but lately, it feels like I'm just breaking down inside."

Jisoo's gaze softened with empathy. "You don't have to hide anything from me. I'm here for you, just as you've always been there for me."

Irene looked down at her hands, trying to gather her thoughts. "I've been so focused on helping Lisa through her heartbreak that I've neglected my own feelings. I didn't realize how much I've been struggling until it all became too much."

Her voice wavered as she continued, "Seeing her hurt, knowing she's been through so much—it's tearing me apart. I've been trying to stay strong, to offer support, but it's hard. I feel like I'm losing myself in the process."

Jisoo reached across the table, her hand gently resting on Irene's. "Irene, it's okay to feel this way. You've been a pillar of strength for Lisa, but you're only human. You have your own limits, and it's important to acknowledge and honor them."

Tears began to well up in Irene's eyes, and she squeezed Jisoo's hand. "I'm scared, Jisoo. I'm scared of how much this is affecting me. I've been so focused on Lisa that I've neglected my own well-being. It's like I'm losing myself in the process."

Jisoo's heart ached for her sister. She moved her chair closer and enveloped Irene in a tender embrace. "Let it out, Irene. It's okay to be vulnerable. You've been so strong for everyone else, but you don't have to go through this alone. I'm here for you, always."

Irene clung to Jisoo, allowing herself to cry freely. The tears that had been building up for so long flowed uncontrollably, and Jisoo held her close, offering comforting words and gentle strokes on her back. The café's warm ambiance seemed to wrap around them, providing a cocoon of solace in their shared moment of vulnerability.

As the initial wave of tears subsided, Irene pulled back slightly, her face flushed but her spirit lighter. "Thank you, Jisoo. I needed this more than I realized. I've been so focused on supporting Lisa that I forgot to take care of myself."

Jisoo wiped a tear from Irene's cheek and smiled gently. "It's important to take care of yourself, too. You're doing a remarkable job being there for Lisa, but you also need to ensure you're okay. It's a balance, and it's okay to lean on others when you need to."

Irene nodded, feeling a sense of relief. "I just wish I could do more for Lisa. I want to help her heal, but it's hard to see her in pain and not be able to fix everything."

Jisoo's gaze was filled with understanding. "Sometimes, being there and offering your support is enough. Healing takes time, and while you can't fix everything, your presence and care mean more to Lisa than you might realize."

Their conversation continued, with Jisoo providing not just practical advice but also emotional comfort. They reminisced about their childhood memories, shared laughter, and spoke of their hopes for the future. The sense of connection between them was palpable, and Irene felt a renewed sense of hope and strength.

As they finished their coffee and prepared to leave, Irene felt a deep gratitude for her sister's unwavering support. The night air was cool, and the city lights twinkled around them as they walked together.

"I'm so thankful for you, Jisoo," Irene said quietly. "You've always been there, and tonight was exactly what I needed."

Jisoo smiled warmly, linking her arm with Irene's. "And I'll always be here for you. Remember, you don't have to face everything on your own."

As they parted ways, Irene felt a renewed sense of clarity and strength. The journey ahead was still challenging, but she knew she had the love and support of her sister to help her through.
