Jennie's expression hardened. "We're not drifting apart. We're just dealing with a lot right now. You know, with everything that happened with Lisa and..."

Klei's frustration boiled over. "You still can't let go of Lisa, can you? Every time we talk, it's like I'm competing with a ghost."

Jennie flinched at Klei's harsh words. "That's not fair, Klei. I'm trying. But every time we have a conversation, it feels like you're pushing me away."

Klei's voice grew more intense. "I'm not pushing you away. I'm trying to understand why you're still so connected to someone who's not in your life anymore. It's like I'm not enough for you."

Jennie's eyes flashed with anger. "You think I don't care about you? I do. But it's hard to just erase someone who was so important to me. It's not about you not being enough; it's about the fact that I'm still healing."

Klei shook her head, her frustration evident. "And what about me? What about how I feel? It's like I'm always second place to a past that I can't compete with."

Jennie's voice softened, but her eyes were still pained. "I didn't mean for you to feel that way. I'm just trying to make sense of everything."

Klei's expression was a mix of hurt and resolve. "I need you to be present with me, Jennie. Not just physically, but emotionally. I can't keep feeling like I'm fighting for your attention."
