Elena stood at Jeremy's bedroom door after she made her decision to keep Jeremy alive and get him out of this cursed town was better than him staying by her side and dying even if she would feel lonely without the only member of her family alive
Elena knocked on the door of the room before she entered "Hey can we talk" Elena said
Jeremy sighed before looking at her and said "What did I do now"
"I was thinking about what you said recently about packing and leaving" Elena said as she approached Jeremy
"Elena I didn't mean that" Jeremy said shaking his head
"But you're right. You don't have to give up having a normal life just for me" Elena said
"What's going on?" Jeremy said
"Your sister is thinking of having another one of our discussions" Damon said as he led from behind
Damon looked Jeremy in the eye "Here's the thing Jer you're leaving town for a while and you're going to stay with a good family in Beacon Hills you're going to a new school and "Meet new girls, drink beer, attend art classes, you can do whatever you want."
"Tell him to forget Mystic Falls and never come back." Aleric spoke from behind Elena.
Damon looked at Elena to get her approval for what Aleric said. She nodded after getting her approval. He looked at Jeremy again. "You will forget Mystic Falls and never come back. You will have a better life, Jeremy."
Elena looked at her little brother with unshed tears. She could not hold back her feelings. She could only hope that what Damon said was true and that her little brother would have a better life there.
