Care

(SPROUTS POV)

      "Hey, Astro!" I walk up behind him. He looks at me and his face goes from a pale white color to a faded rose pink.
      "Oh, uh- hey sprout.."
      "I need you to give Cosmo really good dreams tonight, can you do that?"
      "Oh." He looked down seeming upset, "yeah sure."
      "Awe, thanks Asteroid!" He seemed happy when I called him the nickname.
      That night I went to Cosmos room. I loved the smell of chocolate chip cookies when I walked in.
      "Cosmo?" I looked around his room to find him asleep on his couch. I smile at him. He's so pretty. I run my hand over the dark skin of his cheek. His arm reach up and wrapped around my hand and arm. I slowly took away my arm and look around his room. A mess.
      "Cosmo, you're such a mess." I laugh at little. "You're lucky I care so much."
      His room was clean when I heard him get up.
      "Uh..."
      "Morning, Cosmo." I wrap my arms around his torso.
      "Good morning."
      I stare at his eyes and I let my hand run through his brown curly hair with the white swirls in it.
      "Sprout?"
      "Hm?"
      "Wanna go to that party Glisten is holding?"
      "Sure, why not."
      His face lights up and he hugs me tightly. He lets go and lays down on the couch again and immediately starts snoring.
      "Oh fudge, you're tired." I run my hand through his hair and kiss his head. I leave his room quietly letting myself out.
