"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" She looks up as she's grabbing her things she dropped.

"Oh no it's fine!" You internally scream even though she doesn't seem too pissed.

"Shit..." You lean down to help her pick up her things as she looks at you and sees the fear in your eyes.

"I promise it's no trouble at all!" You both stand up and you look at the floor.

"I'm sorry."

"Hey It's fine I promise!" She clears her throat, an obvious hint to look at her face instead of being awkward. You look up. She gasps. Oh fuck, you are totally screwed. She...smiles?

"You are Y/N from," She thinks for a second. ,from social studies and English! Right?"

You panic until you realize she has asked you a question.

"Oh yeah I guess I am. You're Beverly right?" You knew it was her but you wanted to be polite.

"Yeah that's me!" You are still awkward but a little less. She sees your concerned face and asks, "Hey are you ok?"

You don't want to say it's because you are scared of the 7 times non-virgin but again you want to be polite so you say the first thing that comes to your mind.

"Oh I'm fine I just..." You realize dumping your boy problems on a random girl probably isn't the best idea.

"You can tell me, come on. I promise I won't judge or tell anyone." You decided to tell her because it sounded at this point like she really wanted to hear what your problem was. You sigh.

"Well there's this boy who I wanted to ask on a date all year but I was too scared to and now it's probably too late."

"Tell me who and maybe I can help." She sounded sweet and genuine...so why not tell her?

"You might not know him but his name is Stanley Uris." She looked at you with wide eyes.

"I know who that is and that means I can help you." She smirks. "Ok so does he already know who you are?" You think about it even though you already know.

"Yes. We are in the same accelerated math class and we worked on a project once together. She starts to get excited.

"Ok so,stay here, hold on!" She ran out the front of the school. Where was she going? Was she going to tell Stan? Was she going to bring him here? Was she even going to find him? You wanted to follow her but you knew she would not be happy if you didn't listen to her.

By this point all of the students were out of the building and you were alone. You are calmly waiting for her to come back because you now trusted her. You hear a soft squeak behind you. You turn and see...a red balloon? You got a little freaked out because there was no one else in the hallway but you and the balloon. You started to back up as it continued coming toward you. You start running backwards until you are out of the school.

Beverly runs up to you again, confused. You jump and shout as you turn to face Beverly. She looks concerned as you double take the hallway where the balloon was, which has somehow disappeared. She overlooks your random worry and starts talking so you ignore it too.

"He is over there talking with his friends, see?" She points to the sidewalk outfront where there are two trash cans where the group of boys are dumping things out of their backpacks.

"I didn't say anything to them so they don't know you're going to go over there and ask Stan to go on a date with you." She smiles.

"I don't want to ask him. He'll probably reject me."
