In the snow, two arctic foxes lay low in the soft snow.

"Cool story Prism!" A young Arctic fox spoke, her voice seemed quite high but also soft at the same time. "Didn't you also say Rain had once given a fox a vision?" The kit questioned the older fox. "Well that fox hasn't told us what he saw, plus he seemed more crazy then sane if I remember." Prism told with some thinking from the past.

Prism stood up and looked around her surroundings. "Jess is still gone, what could she be hunting that's causing her to be so late." Prism seemed worried and looked down at kit besides her who was still lying on the snow. "Maybe she caught a big juicy rabbit so big that it takes forever to drag!!" The kit said in excitement. Prism smiled at the young kits exciting attitude but would soon go down, knowing that there could be a chance she won't come back. Prism turned and walked towards a big opening carved into a mountain. It was their den, a comfy place they call home.

"You coming River?" Prism called to the kit. The young fox nodded before getting up and padding into the den with Prism. The den had 4 big flat pieces of moss on the ground, as if they were beds. River lied onto a miss bedding while Prism lied on another, 2 were left empty.

"So.. No dinner?" River said in a sad soft tone. "No, not tonight at least." Prism watched as the snow fell down faster, she knew that Jess wouldn't be coming back.
