Once apon a time.

Two fox kits were born.

Both silver foxes.

Rain and Stride.

Moons went by, the two grew older.

But then their parents had an argument, causing them to split.

The father took Stride while the mother took Rain.

Both raising them their own ways.

The mother taught Rain the right of being honest and kind, she taught that she could find good in others.

The father taught Stride leadership, fighting, and what happens to others who think him wrong.

As moons go by, the mother dies to Strides claws while the father died in a battle against an unknown group.

This left Stride and Rain against each other.

This is where the first war in the pines started.

A war that lasted 11 moons straight until Rain had killed Stride in cold blood.

This battle had lost many animals in the forest and had even taken half the forest life as well due to a fire.

A few moons past, Rain had died due to reasons unknown but foxes remember her like a true hero.

Now to this day, no fox like Stride has ever stepped foot on this ground.
