As the car came to a gentle stop, Damion stepped out and gracefully opened the door for me. With a warm smile, he took my arm, our hands naturally finding their place as he rested his hand on my waist, guiding me inside the building. We entered the elevator, and to my surprise, I noticed it had 35 floors. We ascended to the very top, the anticipation growing with each passing second.
When the elevator doors finally opened, I found myself on a rooftop bathed in soft, glowing lights. In the center, a table for two awaited, adorned with delicate roses, their petals catching the flickering candlelight. The sweet strains of classical music filled the air, enhancing the enchantment of the evening. It was a scene straight out of a dream—a private candlelit dinner with the city lights shimmering in the distance.
I was momentarily speechless, overwhelmed by the sheer romance of it all. It felt almost too perfect, as if I were caught in a beautiful illusion. But the warmth of Damion's hand reassured me that this was real—he was making me feel more cherished than I could ever imagine.
He pulled out my chair with a gentlemanly grace, and I murmured a soft "thank you" as I took my seat. "So, what would you like to eat?" he asked as the waiter handed us the menus. I glanced at the options, some of which were written in languages I couldn't quite decipher.
Feeling a bit shy, I looked up at him and said, "I'll have whatever you're having."
well okay kitten , after like 5 min the order came I was shocked that how fast they were , I was starting so I started to eat without thinking much he pored himself wine and took a sniff test like how rich people behave .
In Excitement I said , " I,ll also have some , and he gave me Too look making me pout at him.
We enjoyed our dinner in a comfortable silence, the quiet connection between us speaking louder than words ever could. Afterward, we stood together near the edge of the rooftop, gazing out at the breathtaking view before us—the city lights shimmering like stars beneath the dark sky. Every gesture of his, every tender look, stirred emotions within me that I tried so hard to resist, yet couldn't deny.
"Thank you for tonight," I said softly, trying to keep my hands from trembling. "Everything was perfect."
He turned to me with a playful smirk, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Don't you think I deserve something in return?" he teased.
I knew exactly what he meant, and a blush crept up my cheeks. Feeling both nervous and excited, I took a small step closer, my heart racing. Gathering my courage, I leaned in and shyly placed a gentle kiss on his cheek, my lips brushing his skin ever so lightly. The moment lingered as I quickly looked away, my face warm with embarrassment, yet my heart filled with a fluttering happiness.
Certainly! Here's a simpler version of the scene:
After dinner, we walked out into the night, heading toward our car. Suddenly, I heard a loud bang a gunshot. I dropped to the ground, covering my ears in fear. It felt like the bullet had just missed me, and my head started spinning from the shock.
Before I could react, Damion quickly pushed me behind him. He pulled out a gun from the back of his shirt and started shooting back. His shouts in Russian scared me even more, and tears streamed down my face. The sound of gunfire filled the air, and I couldn't tell what was happening or who was pulling me along. My ears were ringing, and everything was a blur.
Damion dragged me into the car, slamming the door as we sped off. I sat there, stunned and silent, trying to understand what had just happened.
"Are you alright, love?" he asked, gently grabbing my face. But I was too lost in fear to respond.
"Get a hold of yourself!" he shouted, snapping me out of my shock. I nodded, tears still falling as I tried to calm down. The rest of the drive was quiet, with Damion softly patting my back, trying to comfort me. But the fear stayed with me, making me realize that nothing would ever be the same again.
When we got back, Damion gently lifted me in his arms and carried me to the bed. I didn't know how to react, so I just lay there, stunned. He carefully took off my shoes and unzipped my dress before tossing a shirt my way for me to change into. I quickly slipped it on while he turned his back to give me some privacy.
Exhausted, my eyes began to close, but the fear from earlier wouldn't let me rest. Even in my dreams, the terror followed me, and I woke up with a scream. My body was drenched in sweat, and my heart was racing wildly.
Hearing my cry, Damion rushed over from where he had been standing by the window, looking out at the night sky. The moonlight illuminated the room, and I couldn't help but think of how close we had come to losing everything tonight. We were lucky to be alive.
Damion sat beside me, pulling me into his arms. "You're safe now," he whispered, holding me tightly as I trembled in his embrace. His presence brought me some comfort, and as I cried softly, I eventually drifted back to sleep, feeling secure in his arms despite the darkness of the night.
I woke up to the sound of Damion's angry voice as he yelled on the phone. My heart raced, and I tried to wake up fully. When he saw I was awake, he put his phone down and looked at me with a cold expression."Get ready. We're leaving for Russia," he said, his voice chilling.I stared at him, confused. "What do you mean? How long will we be gone? Is this about what happened yesterday?"But he didn't answer. He just walked out, leaving me alone to pack. My hands shook as I gathered my things, unsure of what kind of trip this was. Why was he acting so different?A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. The maid told me the car was waiting to take me to the airport. When I asked where Damion was, she said he had already left without me. Sadness hit me, but I had no choice but to go.The ride to the airport was a blur of worry and unanswered questions. When I got on the private jet, there he was, sitting and reading a newspaper, his face hard and cold. I didn't understand why he was suddenly so distant, like a wall I couldn't get through.I tried to talk to him, but he stayed silent, making me feel frustrated and hurt. First, he wanted me close, and now he was pushing me away. I wanted to scream at him, to ask him why he was treating me like this. The flight was long and lonely, and when we landed, he moved ahead quickly, leaving me behind. My chest tightened as I followed him, feeling more and more like something bad was about to happen. The city we were in was beautiful, full of life and happy people, but it felt so different from the darkness inside me. I thought we would go to a hotel, but the car stopped in front of a small, simple house, not what I expected at all.Confused, I followed Damion inside. The house was empty and quiet. He sat down on an old sofa in the living room and told me to sit too. I took off my jacket and sat down, feeling awkward and scared."You will live here from now on," he said, his voice flat.My heart skipped a beat. "So, we're going to live here together?" I asked, not believing what I was hearing."No. Only you." His words froze me in place. He called a guard, who put some cash, a chequebook, and my passport on the table.I looked at him, my mind spinning. "What... what are you saying?""I've realized I was wrong to try to have you," he said, his voice cold but filled with regret. "I was obsessed and ruined your life. Last night showed me you're not safe with me. You don't belong in my world. From now on, live your life however you want."He stood up, and his words felt like a knife in my heart. I jumped up and grabbed him by the collar."You can't do this to me! You can't just leave me like this! Please!" I cried, my voice breaking with sadness. But he just looked at me with those cold eyes and turned away. I grabbed my hair, feeling panicked. "We can fix this! Please, don't leave me!"But he didn't stop. He walked out without looking back, leaving me behind, broken and alone. My legs gave out, and I fell to the floor, the pain too much to handle. I cried like a baby, feeling like I had lost everything. My world had fallen apart, and all I could do was cry, my heart aching for the love that had just walked out of my life.
