Lan Zhan and Yiling Patriarch are inside the cave. Yiling Patriarch is still unconscious. His head is in Lan Zhan's lap. Lan Zhan is caressing Yiling Patriarch's hairs.

Slowly Yiling Patriarch opens his eyes. He turns his face towards Lan Zhan and the he immediately sits on bed.

"Lan Zhan. What happened to me?", Yiling Patriarch asks.

"A-Xian. Don't take stress. Everything is alright.", Lan Zhan says and he hold Yiling Patriarch's cheeks.

"Then why did I vomit while drinking the soup?", Yiling Patriarch asks.

Lan Zhan is excited to tell Yiling Patriarch but he internally has a fear that what if Yiling Patriarch wouldn't accept the child or he isn't ready to accept that he is pregnant.

Lan Zhan caresses Yiling Patriarch's tummy. Yiling Patriarch looks at his tummy and then he looks at Lan Zhan.

"Why are you silent?", Yiling Patriarch asks.

"Soon we are going to become parents. Are you ready to accept this unborn child? Are you comfortable right now?", Lan Zhan asks.

Yiling Patriarch gets shock. He didn't reply for a moment because he wasn't prepared for this thing. He gulps and looks at his tummy. Yiling Patriarch's eyes gets teary.

"I wasn't ready Lan Zhan.", Yiling Patriarch says and now he is afraid of the pregnancy.

Lan Zhan gets tensed. He hugs Yiling Patriarch.

"It's okay. It's your choice if you want this child or not. After thinking a lot I decided that you will take the decision.", Lan Zhan says and he wipes Yiling Patriarch's tears.

"B..but I am pregnant.... I can't deny this child.", Yiling Patriarch says. He wasn't mentally prepared for everything. Due to sudden news of pregnancy he gets afraid.

"It's okay. Take your decision.", Lan Zhan says. He kissed on Yiling Patriarch's forehead and stay with him inside the cave.

Yiling Patriarch cried and sobbed for long time. Lan Zhan was worried for him and he gives him a warm hug.

After thinking a lot Yiling Patriarch takes a decision. For this moment Lan Zhan took patience.

"Lan Zhan. Now I can't deny the fact that I am pregnant.", Yiling Patriarch says.

"So, what decision you have taken A-Xian?", Lan Zhan asks.

"I will give birth to our baby.", Yiling Patriarch says but still he is nervous.

"I am sorry A-Xian. It happened because of me. I didn't take precautions while doing sex. Since next time I will be aware about it. But I am happy that you agreed to give birth to our child. I promise I will take your care.", Lan Zhan says.

Yiling Patriarch smiles.

"You are so good Lan Zhan.", Yiling Patriarch says.

Lan Zhan pecked on Yiling Patriarch's lips and then he protectively cuddles him.

Lan Xichen was checking the copies of his students with Lan Wangji. He gets a butterfly message of Lan Zhan.

Lan Xichen gets the news and he gets surprised. He smiles and gets up from his seat.
