Yiling Patriarch burned himself in fire. He likes to die rather than killed by Wang Zi Xuan's hand. He is an immortal but he can die if anyone try to kill him. He also can kill himself.

Yiling Patriarch's body turned in ashes. Wang Zi Xuan screams because Yiling Patriarch was last hope for the cure of her curse. Now she has to find other nine tailed fox to cure her curse.

Wang Zi Xuan knelt down and her body gets numb. Lan Wangji came there while running.

"A-Xian!", Lan Wangji shouts.

Lan Wangji takes out his outer robe. He tries to extinguish the fire. But Yiling Patriarch was already dead. Yiling Patriarch's dead body is laying on the ground. Lan Wangji's knees starts trembling. Already he has lost a most important person of his life and now he is seeing Yiling Patriarch's death.

Yiling Patriarch's body is still burning. Tears slips from Lan Wangji's eyes. Now he can't change the fate.

After sometime Lan Wangji control himself and he gets up. Yiling Patriarch's body has completely converted in the ashes.

Lan Wangji walks towards Wang Zi Xuan and he hold her collar. Wang Zi Xuan hold Lan Wangji's hand.

"Wangji!", Wang Zi Xuan says without fear.

"I will kill you.", Lan Wangji says while gritting his teeth.

"Ooh. Really! Then what about him? Do you want to see him dead?", Wang Zi Xuan asks.

Lan Wangji left Wang Zi Xuan's collar. There is a devil smirk in her face. Lan Wangji gritted his teeth. He control himself from not to cry.

"You have killed my mate. You hypnotized me for six years. You create misunderstanding in between me and my mate. I curse you that you will never be able to walk. Your more than half body will paralyzed. You will always suffer whenever you will see your condition. It's your punishment.", Lan Wangji cursed Wang Zi Xuan in anger. Tears fell from his eyes.

"Nooo!", Wang Zi Xuan shouts and her abodomen and legs gets numb. Wang Zi Xuan fell on ground while shouting.

Lan Wangji looks at Wang Zi Xuan with his red angered eyes. Crack sounds came from Wang Zi Xuan's legs and waist. Lan Wangji isn't satisfied but now he can't kill Wang Zi Xuan.

"Only I can tell you where is he! You can't kill me.", Wang Zi Xuan says.

"Zi Xuan!", Lan Wangji says in anger.

"Wangji! You are mine. If you won't be with me then I will kill him. You have to live with me. Otherwise....", Wang Zi Xuan says.

Wang Zi Xuan looks at her body. She starts crying. She tried to move her legs and waist but she isn't able to do it. Wang Zi Xuan doesn't have guilt. She is just angry that Yiling Patriarch died. She lost an opportunity.

There is hatred in Lan Wangji's eyes, there is a feeling of revenge in him. But at this time, he moved towards Yiling Patriarch's corpse. His feet stopped. He looked at his love to whom he could never express his love properly. His love remained incomplete. Lan Wangji sat on his knees. He sat like that and looked at the burnt body. He lowered his head and clenched his hands. The flow of tears from his eyes is not stopping. He is not able to hear anyone. Because he has only Yiling Patriarch in his heart and mind. He closes his eyes and becomes silent.

Lan Wangji feels that a pure shadow is sitting in front of him and staring at him. He opens his eyes and looks at that shadow.

"Wangji, I will come soon.", The shadow says.
