The day of the first table read for *New Generation 3* was buzzing with excitement. Chiara and Walker were both feeling the nerves, but in different ways. Chiara had done this before, but it was Walker's first big day, and she could see the anxious look on his face as they walked into the studio.
"Hey, Walker!" Chiara called, waving him over to the group of actors hanging out by the snacks. "You made it!"
Walker looked like he was trying to take everything in at once. "Yeah, I'm here. This is...a lot."
"It always is at first," Chiara said with a smile. "But you'll get used to it. Trust me."
The studio was full of energy. Tom Holland was already chatting with Zendaya about their latest adventure, while the other cast members were getting settled. Chiara could tell that everyone was excited for this new chapter in the *New Generation* saga.
The director called everyone to order, and the cast took their seats around a big table. Walker looked around, clearly nervous. Chiara could relate. She remembered feeling the same way when she first joined the franchise.
"Alright, folks, let's dive in," the director said. "Chiara and Walker, why don't you start us off with the first scene?"
Walker gulped, but Chiara gave him a quick thumbs-up. They were handed their scripts, and the room went quiet as they prepared for their first read.
When Walker started, his voice was a bit shaky, and he stumbled over a few lines. Chiara could see him getting frustrated, but she kept her focus, giving him encouraging nods. It was clear he was struggling, and she knew how tough it could be to get things right in front of everyone.
The director paused. "Okay, let's try that again. Walker, Chiara, remember to bring more energy into your lines. It's an intense scene."
Tom and Zendaya exchanged supportive looks, clearly understanding what Walker was going through.
"Hey, Walker," Tom said, coming over during a break, "You're doing great. It's always rough at first. Just keep at it."
Zendaya nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we've all had those moments. Just relax and let yourself get into the role."
Chiara joined in, her smile reassuring. "You're doing fine. Just have fun with it. The characters will come to life if you let them."
Walker took a deep breath and nodded. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate the support."
The second read-through was much better. Walker seemed to loosen up, and his lines flowed more naturally. Chiara noticed the change and felt relieved. It was starting to click for him, and the chemistry between them was beginning to show.
As they took another break, Chiara caught Walker's eye and gave him a thumbs-up. He smiled back, looking more relaxed and confident.
"Hey, Chiara," Walker said as they walked back to their seats, "I think I'm starting to get the hang of it."
"Definitely," Chiara agreed. "You're doing awesome now. Just keep it up, and you'll be great."
The table read wrapped up, and everyone seemed excited about the script. Walker was chatting more comfortably with the group, and Chiara felt a growing sense of camaraderie.
"Hey, good job today," Chiara said as they were heading out. "Seriously, you really pulled it together. I'm excited to see how things go."
Walker's face lit up. "Thanks, Chiara. I was so nervous at first, but you and everyone really helped. I'm looking forward to working with you."
Chiara felt a warm rush of excitement. "Same here. It's going to be a fun ride."
