A few months had passed since the New Generation 2 premiere, and life had returned to its usual hectic pace for Chiara Bianchi. Between interviews, photo shoots, and endless meetings with her agents, she barely had time to catch her breath. But despite the whirlwind of her career, she couldn't help but notice how quiet things had gotten with Walker Scobell.

After that night at the premiere, they'd followed each other on Instagram and exchanged a few messages, mostly just replies to each other's stories or a quick comment on a post. But nothing more. No real conversations, no meetups. It was as if they were both caught up in their own worlds, with only fleeting digital interactions to keep any connection alive.

Chiara found herself thinking about him more than she cared to admit. She wasn't sure why. Maybe it was the way he had genuinely seemed interested in getting to know her, or the fact that he was one of the few people in Hollywood who didn't put on a façade. Whatever it was, she couldn't shake the feeling that they had left something unfinished.

Her thoughts were interrupted one morning by a notification on her phone—a news alert. She opened it and saw a headline that made her heart skip a beat:

"Marvel Announces Third Installment of New Generation: Who Will Play Emma Stark's New Love Interest?

Chiara sat up straighter, reading the article eagerly. It had been rumored for a while, but now it was official. New Generation 3 was happening. The article speculated about the plot and hinted at the introduction of a new character—a boy who would become Emma Stark's love interest in her final year of high school. The piece also mentioned that the casting for this role was underway and that several young actors were already being considered.

Chiara felt a mix of excitement and nerves. This was huge. The third film would be her biggest challenge yet, not only because of the new storyline but because it involved a romantic angle. She'd never really done romance on screen before, and the thought of it made her both anxious and curious.

A few days later, Chiara found herself walking into the familiar setting of a Marvel casting call. The room buzzed with energy, filled with young actors waiting for their turn to audition. Chiara had already read the scenes she'd be performing—some emotional moments between Emma and the mysterious new boy, Alex, who would eventually become her love interest.

As she looked around, she noticed a few familiar faces—actors she'd worked with before, some she knew from other projects, and others she only recognized from their work. The atmosphere was friendly but charged with a competitive edge. Everyone wanted this role.

Chiara's name was called, and she walked into the audition room, trying to stay calm. The casting directors greeted her warmly, and she took her place on the small stage they'd set up for the readings. One by one, different actors came in to read with her, each bringing their own interpretation to the character of Alex.

Some of the auditions went well, with a few of the boys showing real potential. But none of them felt quite right to Chiara. There was something missing, some kind of spark that just wasn't there. As the auditions went on, she found herself growing a bit frustrated. Was she being too picky? Or was it just that the right person hadn't come along yet?

The door to the audition room opened again, and Chiara barely glanced up, expecting another familiar face. But when she finally did look, her breath caught in her throat. Standing there, looking just as surprised as she felt, was Walker Scobell.

He was dressed casually, in jeans and a simple t-shirt, but there was an air of nervousness about him that Chiara hadn't seen before. His hands fidgeted at his sides, and he kept glancing around the room as if making sure he was in the right place.

"Walker," she said, unable to hide her surprise. "What are you doing here?"

He gave her a small, nervous smile as he walked up to the stage. "Uh, I'm here to audition... for Alex."

Chiara blinked, trying to process what he'd just said. Walker, auditioning to play her love interest? It felt surreal. She hadn't even known he was up for the role, and the fact that he was here, now, in front of her, was completely unexpected.

The casting director stepped forward, breaking the momentary silence. "Alright, Walker, whenever you're ready. Chiara, you remember the lines?"

She nodded, still a bit thrown off by Walker's sudden appearance. They both took their places, and the scene began.

The dialogue was intense, filled with the kind of raw emotion that comes with being a teenager facing impossible challenges. As they ran through the lines, Chiara was struck by how naturally Walker fit into the role. There was something about the way he looked at her, the way he delivered his lines, that felt... real. For the first time that day, she felt that spark, that connection she had been waiting for.

When the scene ended, there was a moment of silence in the room. The casting directors exchanged glances, clearly impressed. Chiara looked at Walker, who seemed just as surprised by the chemistry between them as she was.

"Great job, both of you," one of the directors said, smiling. "We'll be in touch soon."

Walker nodded, still looking a bit stunned. As he left the stage, Chiara couldn't help but feel a strange mix of emotions. Excitement, definitely. But also something more—a sense of anticipation, of something new beginning.

They didn't have much time to talk after the audition. Walker was whisked away almost immediately, and Chiara was left to finish her own meetings. But she couldn't stop thinking about the way he'd looked at her during that scene, or the way he'd seemed so different from the nervous boy she'd met at the last premiere.

A few days later, as Chiara was scrolling through Instagram, she received a direct message. It was from Walker.

Walker:
"Hey, I just wanted to let you know I got the part! I'm really excited to work with you. Filming starts in about six months, so I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other soon. :)"

Chiara stared at the message, a smile slowly spreading across her face. This was really happening. Walker was going to play Alex, her character's love interest, and they were going to spend months together on set. It felt like fate, in a way.

She quickly typed a response, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and nerves.

Chiara:
"That's awesome! Congrats, Walker. I'm really excited too. This is going to be a lot of fun. :)"

As she hit send, she couldn't help but wonder what the next few months would bring. Whatever happened, she knew one thing for sure—things were about to get a lot more interesting.
