PRASHI RAWAT'S POV

I sit nervously, fidgeting with my napkin, glancing at my watch for what feels like the hundredth time. Rajveer, seated across from me, raises an eyebrow, his expression a mix of concern and annoyance.

We've been waiting for two hours, and there's still no sign of Yuvraaj Singhania, the infamous mafia lord. I can feel the weight of his reputation in the air, making my skin prickle with unease.

I quickly pull out my phone and dial the number of Yuvraaj's secretary, Raj. He answers on the first ring, his voice smooth and apologetic.

"Prashi, I'm so sorry, but Mr. Singhania won't be able to make it today," he says, before I can even ask.

I feel a surge of frustration and disappointment. "What happened? He was supposed to meet us two hours ago," I press, trying to keep my tone even.

"I'm afraid it's a personal matter, Prashi. He apologizes for the inconvenience and will reschedule for another time," Raj replies, his tone firm but polite.

I glance at Rajveer, who raises an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. I can sense his skepticism, his doubt about Yuvraaj's intentions.

"Okay, Raj. Please let him know we're still waiting to hear from him," I say, trying to keep the conversation open.

"Of course, Prashi. I'll pass on the message," Raj responds before hanging up.

I turn to Rajveer, feeling a mix of emotions: frustration, confusion, and a hint of fear.

As I sit there, trying to process the sudden cancellation, my mind wanders to Yuvraaj Singhania - the infamous mafia lord. He's 38 years old, but his reputation makes him seem older, more hardened. They call him "The King" on the streets, a name that sends shivers down the spines of his enemies.

Yuvraaj is known for his ruthlessness, his ability to crush anyone who dares to cross him. He's a master strategist, always staying one step ahead of the game.

But there's another side to him, a side that's both shocking and intriguing - his relationship with his boyfriend, Ayaan Mukherjee who is now Ayaan Singhania as they got married last year in USA.

I also attended the wedding with rajveer. That wedding screamed expensive, luxury & power.

In a world where being gay is still taboo, Yuvraaj has never hidden his true self. He's unapologetic, unafraid to show his love for Ayaan, even in the face of danger. It's a bold move, one that's earned him both admiration and scorn.

As Rajveer stands up to leave, I notice a figure emerging from the shadows, their eyes fixed menacingly on him. My heart skips a beat as I realize their intention - to harm Rajveer.

"RAJVEER!" I shout, my voice ringing out across the restaurant, but it's too late.

The figure lunges at Rajveer, and he tries to defend himself, but he's caught off guard. I watch in horror as they struggle, my mind frozen in shock.

I try to rush towards them, but my legs feel like lead, refusing to move. I'm paralyzed with fear, unable to do anything but watch as Rajveer tries to fight off his attacker.

And then, everything goes black.

When I come to, Rajveer is lying on the ground, a trickle of blood flowing from his hand. The figure is nowhere to be seen, vanished into thin air.

No! Thank goodness! I breathe a sigh of relief as I see that Rajveer's injury is not as severe as I thought. It's just a 9-centimeter cut on his hand, probably from a sharp object or a knife. He's going to be okay!

I quickly grab some napkins from the table and apply pressure to the cut, trying to stop the bleeding. Rajveer winces in pain, but he's conscious, thank God.

I gently wrap my napkin around Rajveer's hand, trying to stem the bleeding. He winces slightly as I tie the makeshift bandage, his eyes never leaving mine. The intensity of his gaze makes me feel like he's seeing right through me, like he's trying to read my thoughts.

As I finish securing the napkin, Rajveer's expression softens slightly, and he nods in gratitude. I help him up, and we make our way to the car, his arm brushing against mine.

Once we're inside, I quickly grab my phone and dial the hospital's number, informing them of the situation. "We need medical attention, please have a doctor ready," I say, trying to keep my voice calm.

Rajveer's eyes are fixed on me, his gaze still intense. He is silent and cold.

I step into Rajveer's hospital room, my heart still racing from the events of the past hour. The doctor's words echo in my mind - "He's lucky, it was just a superficial wound" - but the image of Rajveer's bleeding hand still haunts me.

As I approach his bedside, our eyes meet, and I see a mix of emotions - pain, relief, and something else, something deeper.

Rajveer's eyes sparkle with amusement as he gazes at me, a sly grin spreading across his face. "You know, the doctor said something interesting," he says, his voice low and teasing.

I raise an eyebrow, curious. "What's that?"

Rajveer chuckles. "He said the bandage was... quite impressive. Almost as if a medical professional had done it."

I feel a blush rise to my cheeks as Rajveer mocks me, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Oh, really?" I reply, trying to sound nonchalant.

I sob uncontrollably, my body shaking with each cry. The events of the past hour - the attack, the fear, the relief - all come flooding out in tears. I feel like I'm crumbling, like I'm losing control.

Rajveer notices my struggle and reaches out, his hand brushing against mine. "Ms. Rawat, hey... it's okay," he says softly.

But it's too late. The dam breaks, and I burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably. Rajveer quickly pulls me into a hug, holding me close as I cry.

"Shh, Prashi... it's okay. I'm fine. I'm here," he whispers, his voice soothing.

"I am sorry, rajveer i couldn't save you."

"It's not your fault, it was akshay's duty."
(His bodyguard)

As I cry, Rajveer's grip on me tightens, and he pulls me closer. Our faces inches apart, I feel his warm breath on my skin.

And then, without another word, Rajveer's lips crash onto mine, a gentle yet passionate kiss that takes my breath away. I kiss him back, tears still streaming down my face, but my heart soaring with emotion.
