I stand in the dimly lit hallway, my eyes fixed on the lifeless body at my feet. The assassin's eyes are frozen in a permanent stare, a testament to my swift and merciless kill. My hands, still gripping the blade, are smeared with the warmth of his blood. I'm lost in the thrill of the hunt, my mind racing with the next move, the next target.
That's when I see her.
A trembling figure, dressed in a short flowing skirt and long blazer, stands frozen in the doorway. My gaze narrows, my instincts on high alert. What is a pretty girl like you doing here? I think to myself, my eyes roving over the delicate features, the slender neck.
I take a step closer, my bloody hands still clutched around the blade. "What brings you to this place, princess?" I ask, my voice low and menacing.
The figure hesitates, then speaks in a voice that sends a shiver down my spine. "I...I'm a man."
My eyes snap back to the figure's face, my mind reeling in surprise. A man? Dressed like that? I take another step closer, intrigued despite myself. "Is that so?" I say, my voice dripping with skepticism.
The man's eyes flash with defiance, and for a moment, I see a glimmer of something more. Something that piques my interest.
And in that moment, I know I have to know more about this... Man.
