A/N (you and Conan have been friends for a year now)
As I got into the elevator, I felt my heart starting to beat faster. Why was I so nervous to go see Conan? I mean, we're just friends! This was outrageous of me. I shouldn't be nervous. It's just Conan. Somehow, that made it worse.
I step off the elevator and into his beautiful penthouse, the one he was staying at currently for tour. "Cone?" I announce, trying not to scare him. I see him peek around the corner, the run towards me. He scoops me into a big hug, basically picking me up off of the ground. "Gosh, someone's excited!" I laugh. He sets me down, then smiles. "Of course I am! I'm always excited to see you!" I felt my heart flutter at this.
I follow him into his kitchen, seeing a cup of coffee already on the counter and one almost ready. "I made you your usual!" he says, setting the cup in my hands. "Thanks Cone!" I say, taking a sip of the coffee. Conan always made the best coffee. It was actually insane. "Soooo?" he says, glancing at the coffee in my hands. "It's perfect" I say, smiling at him.
After a few minutes of chatting and drinking our coffees, I remembered he had told me there was a reason he needed me. "So, Conan...why did you need me to come over again?" He looks at his mug, as if thinking. "Well...it's kind of a surprise" he says. "Mhm, a surprise?" I question. "Yep! Here grab your stuff and let's go!"
I grab my bag as he leads me to the elevator, then out to his car. I still have no idea where we're going. He turns on our playlist, one we made about a year ago but keep adding on to. After driving for a bit, he pulls into a small coffee shop. "Cone...more coffee?" I ask. "Come on! You know you want more!" he says in defense. "You're right, I do!" I reply. We each get a coffee, sitting down at our usual table in the back right corner. Conan gets noticed less back here.
"So, how's the apartment going?" he asks. I've had trouble paying rent for months now, and I wasn't living in my own apartment anymore. I got kicked out two weeks ago, so I've been staying in a hotel. "It's...uh-" I think about how to answer. "What's wrong?" he asks. "I got kicked out"
"WHAT?" he screams, making me jump a little. "Sorry...what?!? Why didn't you tell me?" I look down at my hands, trying to come up with some kind of answer. "When?" he asks, his tone more gentle. "Two weeks ago" I reply. "Where have you been staying?" "The hotel up the street"
He looks at me, his eyes full of sadness. "We're getting your stuff today and you're moving in with me" he says out of nowhere. "Cone...you can't do that! I mean you're literally famous, and I don't need you to do that it's fi-" "It is NOT fine! You are staying with me and that's final!"
