The room fell silent right after Namjoon awkwardly fixed the cap on Seokjin's head, an uneasy but familiar tension settled between them. The air in the room was as thicker as it gets, both of them were aware of how everything was just so out of the box, nothing they were used to.

It was still night outside and everything felt like a blur. Namjoon was there trying his best to keep his thoughts straight, trying not to freak out again at the fact there was an alien existing, sitting in his room. An alien from a planet no one on Earth knew about, that ever existed. How does one even begin to process that?

While there was Seokjin, who sat on the edge of the bed, the tracksuit hugging his form in away that didn't suit his royal posture. He then glances at the human, noticing how he paced around the room, was it the nervousness he saw on the other? Also he happens to mutter something to himself.

"You're making dizzy with all that pacing, Namjoon" Seokjin commented on the humans nervous walk.

Namjoon halts in his steps, rubbing his face with a frustrated sigh. "Sorry, I just.. there's so much to figure out and I don't even know where to start from"

Seokjin sighed the same, but he knew what Namjoon was feeling, he understood it rather than being irritated at that, all that Namjoon had going on. He knew this was overwhelming, the place they both stood at, known and unknown to one another. Maybe it was even terrifying, for Namjoon. Yet there was an odd sense of comfort he felt being in the humans presence. Something about the other's clumsy but genuine concern put Seokjin at ease something in a way which he hadn't expected.

"As I had asked earlier to you, about taking me to the place where you found Aetherion, so that, let's start from there." Seokjin suggested and waited for the human to process it.

Namjoon stood there, blinking in confusion, then considers the idea. He had planned onto not doing anything that will be careless, such as being caught by someone but Seokjin's suggestion made sense. Anyway there was no use in sitting around, trying to think of it all in his room, when the answers might be out there, waiting to be uncovered.

"Now?" The obvious human asked with a lil doubt.

And Seokjin nodded all determined. "Yes right now. The sooner we get answers, the sooner I can figure out how to return to Orience, and why this all happened in the first place."

Namjoon took a deep breath, nodding as the same determination sets into him. "All right, let's get going"

It didn't took them long to slip out of the house, Namjoon sneaks out of the house a lil too much  sometimes, and it's not that hard, after all those years of practice he's doing good, with zero percent of being caught.

He told Seokjin about how smooth he was that they weren't caught by his parents to which in return the orient just rolled his eyes and said, "It's because your parents are deep in slumber" The alien, got no fun, Namjoon was sure.

Soon they moved through the streets, which was strangely quite, the moon blanketing the world with a pale glow as Namjoon and Seokjin walked.

Seokjin kept his head low, something he was so not used to of. Back at Orience he walked with pride and confidence but now, he had to be careful to avoid any kind of attention, though it was unlikely anyone would be out at this time.

None of them uttered a word as they walked, the air between them had shifted. The tension was still there, was it friendship or responsibility. One had to help the other get close to his goal and the other had to protect him, unknowingly because the crystal is from his world.

They eventually reached the edge of the excavation site. The site had been closed off for a few days after Namjoon had discovered Aetherion, but the fence wasn't enough to keep them out.
