Yoongi left the toy locked in its room as he went back to his car.
Starting it up, Yoongi pulled up a very old address from his archived emails and began driving.
-
Yoongi stopped in front of a large house, parking in the street since he didn't want to leave his car on the property. Peering out the window, he grimaced at the fancy abode.
He didn't want to go in.
But he needed answers.
Yoongi unclipped his seatbelt, and as he did his eyes caught sight of the paper still resting on the seat next to him.
The results he had gotten from the courthouse.
He hadn't looked at them still. Despite winning over and over again against the toy, if it had won their previous bet then it was still winning no matter what Yoongi did to it. Because he couldn't change the past.
Ignoring the paper again today, Yoongi shoved it into the glove compartment and climbed out of the car and hurried up the marbled driveway. On the front steps, Yoongi rang the doorbell and listened to music chime inside.
A few moments later, the door unlocked and opened and for the first time since he had gotten the man expelled from the mansion, Yoongi was standing face to face with Caine.
The man raised an eyebrow as he looked Yoongi over. "Well, well... the infamous sub. On my doorstep."
"Not a sub." Yoongi glared. "And I never was."
"You were for me." Caine grinned, leaning against the doorway. "Once."
"I'm not here to talk about that." Yoongi crossed his arms. "I know what you did."
Caine rolled his eyes. "That was two years ago. And, thanks to you freaking out, everyone knows what I did."
"I'm not talking about the stunt you and your girlfriend pulled back at the mansion." Yoongi snapped.
"Actually, I'm his wife now." Varia said, coming up behind Caine. She stood on her tip toes and they kissed.
Yoongi groaned. "Of course you are. Psychopaths always get together."
"Why don't you come inside, Yoongi?" She smiled at him.
"Pass, witch. I'm just here to-"
"Nonsense!" Caine grabbed Yoongi's arm suddenly and yanked him over the threshold.
"Get off me!" Yoongi shoved him away immediately. He turned to leave but Varia shut the door and stood in front of it, her arms crossed and her red lips smirking.
"Come on, stay awhile." Caine chuckled. "It's been two years since we saw you and, what's that kids name?"
"Don't pretend you don't remember." Yoongi could feel another headache coming and he pressed his hand to his forehead. He wanted to take a pill but his painkillers had been left in the car.
"Yeah, you're right. I remember. I remember him a whole lot." Caine grinned. "I remember kissing him and touching him and throwing him on a bed-"
"Shut up." Yoongi growled. "I told you, I'm not here to talk about what happened before."
"You're right, me neither." Caine came up behind him and put his hands on Yoongi's shoulders, forcing a massage on the dom. "You look like you could use a drink. Let's go toss back some scotch and catch up. I've missed you, Yoongs."
Yoongi shook him off. "No. And don't call me that. I didn't come here to stay and chat. I just-"
"I'll get the drinks." Varia skipped off to the kitchen, and a moment later Yoongi heard the sound of glasses clinking.
