Fiona woke to a low humming noise. The smell of mildew flew into her nose as she took a breath in.
She then began to cough violently at the smell.
"Ah, look who's awake?"
Fiona flinched. The creature was just inches from her face.
"Where's Eric!"
The shifter chuckled.
"You know, that man actually had a crush on you in ninth grade. You never knew at all. He always thought you were ignoring him or just figured he was trash."
Fiona looked confused. "how do you-"
He pointed to his head and smiled.
"Once I shift into someone, I practically become them."
"He knows you think he looks at you like a sister, but it's not true. Your friend Eric here has got the hots for you."
"where is he?" Fiona tried to ask again.
"Probably screaming for help just like all the rest of 'em do."
"what are you going to do to me?"
"Haven't thought about it yet. But, I figured I'd go pay your hero Eric a visit. He keeps asking about you and threatening little old me."
Fiona lunged forward and got pulled back. Her wrists were tied behind her back to a pipe.
"Whoa!" The shifter stood up and laughed. "she's a feisty one isn't she?"
"Don't you dare lay a finger on him you hear me?!"
"Is the famous Fiona Stewart threatening me?" He placed a hand to his heart and shook his head. "I'm honored."
The huntress glared at him.
"Don't worry princess, I won't hurt him. At least not for now. I'll be back in a jiffy." The shifter winked and left down a pitch black hallway.
Fiona yanked at her restraints and saw no luck with them.
"Son of a bitch!" She shouted and let her head fall. Fiona felt defeated at this point. What was to become of her and Eric?
"Dean would kick my ass for giving up so easily." Fiona scoffed. "So would Sam and Bobby."
She looked up and sighed. "I gotta get Eric and I outta this situation. I've got to come up with something."
Just as Fiona scanned the room, her eyes landed onto the Shifter's gun and blade. They were sitting on a table that was near an "exit" hallway.
Fiona stood up now. Maybe if she could just find something that was—
She stopped. Her restraints were stuck on a rusted piece of the pipe.
"This could work."
"What could?"
Fiona froze. The voice the shifter was using no longer belonged to Eric anymore.
It belonged to Dean.
"Hey sweetheart."
Fiona's heart began to beat fast. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes.
She grew furious.
"You don't get to call me that."
Fake Dean chuckled.
"Eric was right on one thing." He walked up to Fiona and smiled. "His memories showed me that he wished he could have made you seen him the way he was. Maybe go on a date with you but Dean," He placed a strand of Fiona's hair behind her ear. "Dean knew you already saw him. The way you two shared looks at each other. How you talked, laughed at his jokes. He knew he already had you. He just had to make a move and you'd be in his arms."
