In Between (One short story)

Chapter 5

Heading my ways going inside the pool area.

Yes. I do come here to say sorry again and make it up to him, I know that I reach the line between us so it must be to do it.

Well honestly Isn't it I don't like friends or I don't like him to be my friend, it just Im not so comfortable having them in just that instant, Before Im a victim of toxic so called friends but the truth is they come to friends me for the study purposes.

I'd shared them answerd, doing some of their homework when were hanging out, then once I knew that was the only reason. After that I didn't able to try again or to have some friends again.

But to say that Theo really seems kind being friends, I realized that I'd shouldn't compare him from the friends I have before.

Soon.I saw him sitted at the side pool, I'd also noticed that he think some deep thoughts as he only gazed his feet that splash onto the water.

I take steps approach him, suddenly he turned his gazed find me near to him, as he felt my presense made him to glance quickly at me then again back to the water.

Once I approached him with a safe distance between us, I cleared my throat to get his attention looking at him, but he didn't botherd to spare me some gazed on me again.

"His totally offened on you!"

Shut up! Im already here to say sorry right?

"Theo..."
The only words I utter, but he again didn't mind.

"U-uhmm...um..I..I-im s-sorry."
I said hesistanly stuttered,but then this time he got to gazed at me.

"Its fine. you can go now"

Did he really mad at me?...

his not like that when were talking, used to please me than I am.

"Look. I..I didn't mean that way. Please forgive me on that"

"I said its fine."

"Are you been that cold to treated me?"
I said slightly irritated on his behavior now feels like he changed.

"And so? are you the only one who can be that cold too?"
He said now staring at me in his unusually expression, looking so serious.

"And thats why Im apologizing now. Im sorry"
I utterd simply lowered my head, I hope it send it sincerely to him because I really feel sorry for what I've behaved.

"Drink the pool water first"

Soon his words reached my ears as I turned to looked up seeing him displayed playfull smirk on his lips, As he noticed my blank expression processing his statement he burst out in chuckles.

"Kidding. Of course I'll do yo forgive you beautiful Vivian"
He said gifting me smile while he stand in walked towards me.

Soon as he stand infront me chuckling I'd get it. As his awra now back from usual.

"I hate you!, are you play tricks on me?"
I said complaining to him.

"A-ahh ahh. don't you try being rude again if you don't want us to fight"
He said teasing me, as he grabbed the towel drying his head.

"Then how dare you to order me drinking the pool water."
I said glares at him earning a chukles, that his usual expression often being cheerful.

" Obviously It was a joke, coz you can't"

"Stop laughing."

"I didn't controlled, as I saw your eyes go wide to my words"
He said re-act my expression earlier, as we both fell in chukles. I unintentionally get smiled.

Soon we realized that we laugh so much staring each other feel awkward, earning as to stop then placed thin smile to each other.

"So friends?"
He asked made me to stared at him for a while.

"What ever"
Soon I managed to utter gifthing him small smile.

"Anyway you really came here just to say sorry to me? how sweet you are Vivian" He smile giggling, well he looks so happy thinking that, me coming here to say sorry is his favorite part.

"Well thats the right thing to do"

On the road taking his ways to dropped her in the condo, as he offerd her a lift and this time she couldn't get a chance to refused as she promised to her self that she can't do committ mistakes again to the people.

Vivian seated at the passenger seat while Theo is driving, they both stay in silent as they somehow find the atmosphere awkward.

"I didn't knew that your condo is near to my house"
Theo said glancing at her while she also do the same.

"Really? so where your house here?"

"It took some meter away from yours, good thing because you can visit me if you do miss me"
He commented chuckling while she shooked her head in disbelief chukles.

"You made me shivers on your words"
She replied in soft laugh.

"I didn't know that you can able to laugh"

"Huh?"
She asked confused on his words.

"Well I'll do laugh because Im human tho"
She added once realizing his point as Theo smiled turned his gazed on road.

"Then why is so barely for you to do that."

Vivian fell in silent sunk his words inside her, getting the main point of his words that convey, and her now didn't able to find some words on how can she replied, answered him.

"Because I grow to be like this since then, and I should think that theres nothing need to changed what is used to"
Vivian managed to reply in a abract terms of words.

"You should used to be Vivian, you didn't know how much beautiful you are when smiling"
He said glacing at her chukles made her to smile once again.

Not bad being with him....

Vivian thoughts turned her head facing the window.

Soon they reached her condo taking her self out from the car as he open the car door for her before, as they both out giving their farewell.

"Goodnight Vivian"
He said smiled to her as she smiled back before she spoke.

"Goonight"

After that Theo hooped in inside take his ways out, while Vivian heading inside the condo. Already got inside she noticed Dada eyeing her.

"Is there a problem Dada?"
She dare to asked confused about her gazed.

"Did you already have boyfriend?"

Her eyes go wide hearing her words. Heading to the table and pulled out one chair while Dada keep on looking her.

"Stop gazing like that Dada, I have not"
She replied gifthing her thin smile before she goes to the shelf grab some plate and spoon the got back to the dining table.

"What ever. Your not my daughter afterall for me to act like this. Anyways if you done eating headed straightly to your room, and sleep early. Hmm?"
Dada asked made her to nodded her head then after Dada took her way going inside her room closing the door.

Finishing her dinner and washed the plate, then after took her way inside her room. Straightly headed in bathroom taking half bath before she could do homework then after taking her sleep drift to the dreamland.
