In Between (One short story)

Chapter 17

Walking in paced as I'm nearly to be late in my first subject. Yes we're both back now in Busan last night and we're sleepless as if. Red insisted to go back early after that anniversary celebration he just informed me that were heading home, then asking permission to his parent before we leave.

Well aside of me feel wonder on why he insist going home immediately made me thought that maybe it just because of his father, on that night before we leave I recognized his father glance to him it's feels like strange and in demand as well his mother looks worrying all the way the party.

But even of that their family and other relatives tried to make the celebration more memorable as I'd noticed their culture being formal towards their visitors it's more likely talking of about business, negotiations and investment instead of enjoying the occasion made their tradition out from normal compared to others but otherwise it's still good to experience for me.
As I cannot get over in some happenings on that night, I couldn't forget those delicious delicacies that I'd able to taste as I really enjoyed does, and to try their deserts makes me more likely enjoying to eat than socializing, well the fact that I don't know everyone that came in there and also I still considered myself as strangers to them for me joined with.

And also the attires that they demand to wear, as that occasion seems formal were going to wear night dressed and for the men wore toxido's that made them look formal even more as well made me commits some complications to get along since I didn't used to wear those turns to the point that he asked me to try that and make some make over.
I didn't know why this family so much effort into it to the point that they hired make up teams and buy those high price cloths for that one night occasion.

"You look good, I didn't thought that make up effectively suit to you"
He chuckled looking at her heading downstairs made her to glared at him, as she didn't know if he gives compliments or criticize her look. Vivian wear cream bodycon dress visibly expose her shoulder along with silver heels.

"Shut up, you're the one who want this right?"

"Well it's needed to, anyway shall we?"
He said extending his hand towards her that caused her to placed surprised expression looking at his hand.

"Come on, are you just staring at me or what? "

"You look beautiful to stay up inside so that it's needed to be shown by others"
He added made her eyes grew wide didn't expect his direct compliment now, As Vivian hesistanly held his hand that he hold back then walked leading their way out.

That night somehow made me feel out of place but thanks to him, he doesn't neglect me hanging their alone as he was bringing me everywhere he goes.

"Stay always beside me"

His words still able through my ears. I do know him more and other stuff about him that makes our presense to each other became normal, like no awkwardness, no weird moments I could say that were just a type of friends even tho not that close.
Seem that the boundary has set between us unable.

"Ouchhh!- Ahhh.."
I cursed rubbing my forehead realizing that I already kissed the wall, sucks why this day full of bad lucks?. I didn't able to recognize the way because I'd pay my attention eyeing the screen looked at our photo together.

"What are we doing here?"
She said once they headed in some place of garden realized that they only two in there eyeing the surroundings, exhaling the cold breeze air in the night made her somehow to feel shivers as the dress she wear expose her shoulders.
